      We had a blast! He didn’t play golf, we just did a bunch of relaxing at the pools, restaurants and ocean!

    I think my husband and you have the same scooter❤

    • @LivingGratefully
      @LivingGratefully  Год назад +1

      We rented that one for vacation but we are definitely considering getting one permanently. How is your hubby doing? Where did y’all get his scooter?

      @@LivingGratefully it def comes in handy! It’s just heavy !! I lift it to and from our trunk! Obviously scott is a lot stronger than me for that though !!
      He’s doing ok! Gets PT and OT twice a wk :)
      So that helps, but its a lot at the same time if that makes sense! Try to keep him busy so he doesn’t get discouraged !! Thanks for asking!
      How are you feeling?

    • @LivingGratefully
      @LivingGratefully  Год назад +1

      Staying busy def helps keep your mind off the pain. My pain is same/worse (same in some areas, worse in other areas) but still praying and I know Gods healing is good! Love you Michelle!!

      @@paumils Hi! If you haven’t left yet… here are some of our tips! We had the best vacation at Unico Sep 8-14, 2023! It was our first time and it won’t be the last! We had 6 in our group (3 couples). Here are some of our favorites, food recommendations and tips:
      * Cueva Siete restaurant was a FAVE. We asked our wonderful server to bring the house favorites for us to try and he was excited to share and he made the night very memorable for us! Loved the ribeye tacos w/ guacamole, cochinita tacos and tres leches cake. Oh - Bananas w/ cream dessert - so good! Seafood cocktail was delish, tuna tartar… so many good options you can’t go wrong! And the Mayan coffee - what a wonderful experience we had!
      * We enjoyed the beach to the left when you come off of the far left bridge. A few rocks and a ledge in the water to be careful of - but once you get past that, the water is clear and feels so good, calm & enjoyable. Some seaweed on beach and in the water, but really not bad at all.
      * The breakfast buffet at 2087 has excellent selection, nice views and outdoor dining options. Breakfast at Mi Carisa was very nice for a la cart. A few of us loved the cold oatmeal there, and a few loved the chicken enchiladas and chilaquiles w/ eggs and chicken. Mimosas! Loved the options for the different juices to include in mimosas.
      * We enjoyed the La Escondida pool a lot because the water was cooler than the other pools.
      * We enjoyed using the app - make your reservations for dinners before you arrive at resort. Room service ordering is made easy on the app (we ordered coffee and light breakfast every night to be delivered next morning). Restaurant menus are on the app …Order a special pillow, we loved the app!
      * The service staff was amazing …pool side, in room dining service, restaurants, stores, check in, housekeeping, everywhere.
      * The ladies in our group enjoyed the chocolate making class - $15 and you get some chocolates to go as well!
      * The straw hats provided in our room were fun to have painted. You can pick out what you want on your hat and leave it to pick up later.
      * Bring a pool bag, or you can buy one in one of the stores. The pool party at the 2087 pool was fun. One of the days there was a popsicle cart that came around - you don’t even have to get out of the pool to get your popsicle! That was nice. The servers are generous with bottled waters which is very nice for me - I’m a big water drinker. Ample pool side dining options and bars - very nice! Live music in the lobby was nice and enjoyable before dinner.
      * Very nice selection of quality alcohol- The bottles are on display. Just specify to bartender how to have your drink made. We even made up a few drinks and combinations. They will make as strong as you want, just ask. You can also get a shot on the side to add to your drink if you like.
      * We enjoy tipping - so we did so everywhere. Restaurants, poolside, bars, housekeeping (at end of week), etc.
      * Bring your own medicines - Tylenol, heartburn / antacids, Imodium, etc. It’s available at a store but pricey.
      * We prebooked eTransfers to get to/from Cancun airport and it was wonderful. One main road for the transport (no small windy back roads).
      * We loved our alcoba ocean view king rooms.
      Hope ya’ll have as much fun as we did!!!
