Totalbiscuit brings you a mini-series in which he answers a lot of questions which normally would go unanswered. Topics include food, culture, games, hobbies and various aspects of everyday life.
Find out if fighting 100 duck sized horses is better than one horse sized duck.
He only had 6years left when he made this...sad hearing him talk about how long he would be doing RUclips. He must have imagined doing it until he was old and gray...
To be fair. When i am old and gray i will be watching his videos remembering the good old days.
love the detail on the horse-duck question!
Hearing you narrate answers and got in-depth a bit is great for me because my concentration tends to fall off rather quickly when facing massive walls of text and numerous chat entries. So, thank you for this, very much!
This was fantastic, TB. Thank you for this. Can't imagine I'll get around to reading all of the AMA, so this was a great idea.
This is without a single shadow of a doubt something I want lots and lots of more out of. TB talking about fighting against ducks... this is amazing content right here!
Love how you disected the horse question!
would love to see more of this, it's like a vlog session but with only questions that a community would like answered. I hope you have a great day
Yea, I'm loving this. It makes me laugh, it makes smile and it teaches me stuff about TB himself, things he likes, he approves, disapproves and just life. I mean TB is one of those people who's oppinion I take in very high regard and who I deliberately let myself influence by and by that I mean that I take specific points of view from him which I personally agree with and find good points of view on specific things and life and that's what I'm getting from this series, so by all means keep it up
PLUS! absolutely love TB doing an in depth of analyse of how/why/when he would fight a giant duck.
I am very much up for more of this TB. As ever, entertaining and informative. Being 27, living in Wales and no where near where I would like to be in my life, I have immense anmounts of respect for you. It's nice that you are willing to open up to all sorts of questions, it really connects you with your fanbase a little more than the regular excellent content, Always nice to hear your opinion as it is so well focused and objective it becomes educational. Atleast as a launch pad to learn. Thanks.
Here in Australia, there is also a significant portion of the population who pay little to no tax (we have an $18k tax-free threshold, meaning the first $18k of your income is not taxed. It also means if you earn less than $18k, you pay zero tax), and yet we still have public healthcare that is ranked higher than that of the US, and costs less in terms of our a % of GDP.
This is a great idea. Why i say this is because sometimes I'll need some sort of background noise while I'm doing home work or playing gather and build games like Terraria or Minecraft; it's nice to listen to something you like, for example music or your favorite show or your favorite youtuber. Awesome Job!
Planning on watching the whole series TB, right after I've done my essays. Keep up the good work sir!
Dr TB, I really enjoy these videos and in fact any of your audio focused content. I really enjoy listening to the content you provide whilst i game or do light work. X
I like this series. It's a nice detachment from the grind and it lets us know more about you (weather you like that or not is up to you). Regardless it's fun to listen to in the background so please make more.
Dear TB, regarding sun tzu -
The Art of War sits on my desk. I've read it several times. The book states that, when facing an even-numbered enemy force, you are supposed to split your forces and send half to flank the enemy. So yes, flanking is a valid tactic and the horse-sized duck is preferable.
I think the reason terraria is just so good is because its is in fact a talk show.. instead of all the serious content its nice, relaxing, humorous and just fun to watch.
TB and jessie make a good duo.
Loved this format. Your insights on fighting a horse-sized duck instead of a hundred duck-sized horses are VERY educational and could change the perspectives of many people for the better. If more people here on RUclips were adopting the horse-sized duck format, we could have a much more civilized discussion.
Yes, most detailed answer I've heard him give on on anything. Was quite amazing...
Hi TotalBiscuit,
please continue this kind of series.
Thanks.
Thanks TB, we really do appreciate all you do!
Jesse Cox - Raid with me.
The beginning of that clip made me search it up and favorite it instantly.
Yeah, I love to hear you talk about not only videogames but stuff in real life too. This is awesome content!
And the Scotland equivalent are neds and your description covers them very well.
This is a great series idea.
And Jesse's song made me happy inside.
This seems like a fun series so please do continue producing these.
this is amazing. i loved the duck sized horses question so much just because he is so serious about it
One of the reasons I listen to TB is because of his reasoning, and how he rarely never makes verbal mistakes. And wow, that was the greatest explanation of the Duckopolis ever. :D And, TB is hilarious.
the fact that tb it in north carolina excites me a LOT. i live in tennessee which is as most of you americans know literally right next to north carolina, and i live really close to the eastern border. its unbelieveable that tb could only be like an hours drive from my house.
I mean in terms of culture and infrastructure. We are both western countries with similar economic interests. We both live in urban/city areas. We both build large sky-scrapers as both residential and commercial structures. For the most part we both have similar weather. Our two countries are more alike than you think. Granted we are different in many ways; we have lower crime rates, better education system, better healthcare, less religious, we're friendlier..
your topics are absolutely bizzare
i love it!
...Reddit users.
what's not simple about private school is getting the required GPA to enroll and the high cost of quality education.
all farming is funded by the US department of agriculture. any corn you see growing is yellow dent #2 used to make hi-fructose corn syrup. almost all farms are government owned, but family operated.
TB,TB,TB Terraria is NOT an garbage concept. Its one of the best series I´ve ever seen on the gaming side of RUclips. You and Jesse are doing an awsome job of just goofing around and talking about stuff. It´s kinda freaking awsome!!!
Just letting you know that I'm interested in this series. Please do continue.
Mr. Biscuit i would be eternally grateful if this series continued to the end.
I like how he goes really in depth in his reasoning of that last question.
Like this? Screw that, I'm putting it on favorites. Such thorough reasoning on the horse sized duck question must not go to waste!
TB blew the B'Jebus out of my brain with the Duck and Horse question. He got so in to it, it was insane.
Dude. That duck analogy and your answer blew my mind. Well done sir, well done.
This is probably some of the best content on RUclips! Keep up the good work:D
You just answered your own question. The point of social services is that when someone is having trouble (sick or poor), EVERYONE contributes to help them back on their feet. Its the same as the example you just gave, but on a larger scale..
I love this, I really like hearing TB talk about things, but the mailbox often involves games I've never heard about or I just don't care about. This actually gives me an oppirtunity to just sit and listen to TB while playing games. Better than music imo!
I love the depth and thought TB gave to the duck and horse question XD
I like TB's analytical style with questions, more of this!
TB one Tip, if a unit is small enough (like a soldier or Creeper, you can carry 3 at the same time on your Airmech)
the horse sized duck thing reminds me of an analogy between Voltage and Current. High voltage doesn't always kill you but high current will
At the first question... Choice of bread on a Q&A... I knew this was going to be a fantastic series.
Please continue this series I really enjoyed this episode :D
listen to this and mailbox while gaming myself.. i enjoyed this first episode and look forward for more in the future :D
It's free for prescriptions in scotlands for many people
I really enjoyed learning more about you :) Please continue this series!
HA! Welcome to North Carolina weather. You should head up to the mountains, maybe Asheville, the humidity isn't as bad.
Loving listening to this , its nice to have some non gaming related topics :) Keep up the awesome work TB
This is why I love TB, I don't only get great opinions on new and upcoming games but I also learn how to get the "best bread experience"
Why not just bake your own bread? You can decide what goes in it yourself, and it's also cheaper in long run. Flower, water, yeast, oil, salt, done. Then you can choose to put various sorts of flower in, some milk, or even nuts.
This was really interesting. I would really like to see/hear more of this sort of thing!
Good idea for a series , born in Newcastle and still living here. Its true great curry restaurants. Do more of these :)
The reason that the Bread can cause headaches is because we americans actually have been GM'ed to have a different gluten protein, so its much different and less healthy than other countries bread and stuff, its a very common side effect for travelers to the U.S.
I agree with that as well, and I don't think that universal health care can work in the US for any length because of the massive difference between the two nations that isn't worth listing.
I was always interested in your ideas and your opinions about stuff (Main Reason I watch your channel TBH ) So yea ... Do continue the series for as long as it gets there are interesting stuff that we can have answers for XD
Please continue this, I enjoyed it a lot.
How is it that I enjoyed this more than some Mailbox episodes... which I do really enjoy
Very interested in this. Definitely want to see it continue.
as an american who works in a doctor's office (not a doctor) i feel conflicted on our health care system. As a consumer it would be nice to have socialized medicine (minus the wait lists that can kill). As a provider we see lots of folks that comeback for reoccurring SELFinflicted maladies. lots of them are people getting stuff stuck in their ears/noses after being told repeatedly not to stick stuff in their orifices.
Please do continue this :) It's nice to get a feeling of how you are as a person, and not as a "professional", if that is actually the right term to use.
Haha! I love this! I for one say keep doing this series! It's good to see non gaming aspects to your life! Good work, mate!
ive rather liked this AMA. Please continue :)
Also, i agree with the requests for more songs, i missed your old wowradio ones, but "santa baby" last year was awesome :)
I'm just gonna show my interest in this series. So please do continue with it :)
Love this series, please do continue it
Hahaha! 8:47 on...Oh god...That's awesome! That high pitched note. That was brilliant :') You two should do a duet, TB. Maybe for Christmas? Maybe not even a parody, but a rat pack track, something like that? You, your brother and Jesse would know what works. Go on. You really surprised me at christmas with your singing! However, we do all love all the videos you do, so don't stray too far from that, but give the songs a shot, if they're good...well, we'll tell you. Trust us, we'll tell you!
I like this series and hope to see it continue.
i liked the fact he explained the duck question as well as he did.
Thank you for doing an AMAA.I very much appreciated your honesty in the answers given and may i say, also feel a little bitt proud of you after watching you 'all these' years and how things are falling into their place. ;) ps:i like the show & tell bitt from the tgs podcast, maybe make a pet(s) edition? Cheers
This video seems like a great concept for a series, keep it up tb.
the song at 9:00 is take on me - Real big fish
Hell yeah TB loving this series.....loving you
You are awesome love the answers. PS: The chav talk made me laugh due to the total accuracy lol
TB, you are truly a great person.
seems like this is gonna be a great series.
The healthcare thing is even more jarring when you come from Scotland where the Scottish NHS doesn't even have things like prescription fees. Medication is totally free at the point of use.
Hmm, considering that down here in Florida, even in October it's still hitting into the low 90s every day with high humidity, I might want to head over to the UK for a while. :)
Don't you dare end this series prematurely! This is more interesting than your mailbox in my honest opinion.
Glad to see some down to earth talk with the TB, i would like to hear more about your diet tho, trying to lose alil myself
Very in depth responses. Very interesting discussions.
i wonder how long its been since TB had bread in England. it's been on a steady downward spiral here too imho. in the past 5 or 6 years we have gone from about 5 bakers within a couple of minutes walk to 1. The 1 thats left is greggs (where selling actual loaves of bread is an afterthought)! instead we now have a minature tesco's on every bleedin street selling air whiped stuff they pass off as bread and has little nutritional value. still it's a little better than ive had abroad i guess.
The Art of War states:
"If equally matched, we can offer battle; if slightly inferior in numbers, we can avoid the enemy; if quite unequal in every way, we can flee from him. Hence, though an obstinate fight may be made by a small force, in the end it must be captured by the larger force."
I think Sun Tzu would agree with you TB.
Yes, do continue the series. It's quite nice to hear you telling background stories.
With that in mind, are you gonna continue the Black Mesa Abridged series?
I could listen to you're voice forever.
My opinion on U.S.A. vs U.K.: The bonus of the U.K. is that we have free healthcare. I mean even if someone doesn't pay national health insurance (essentially optional NHS tax) if its urgent we worry about payment later. I saw a documentary in which someone had a burst appendix in the U.S.A. and was turned away because he couldn't pay. However, I think the U.S. has a cap on loan interest, so you don't get companies charging 2000% APR over there.
I love this type of video, please keep them coming
This is great, I'm really excited to see the next episodes :))
Hell yeah south shields, home town :D Ocean road is the place to go for curries.
I keep imagining TB jumping, dodging, and evading a gigantic duck's attacks. It's hilarious.
Great new series! Keep them going!
feels like listening to a morning radio. very nice.
Continue please :) Very interesting to hear about your person/plans/future for once.
please keep this going, i am enjoying it very much
You surely dedicate a ton of time to RUclips (and consequently to us), considering the number of series and videos you publish on a regular basis. That's very much appreciated; more people should be dedicated to their job as you are (too bad many actually can't - how can you even be a dedicated dustman, for example?).
Very interesting. Look forward to the next episode!
"jeez have you ever read sun thzu's art of war? neither did I"
that was so fucking genius. more of that please mr. biscuit. this is about the same amount of fun as a mailbox. I love it
