I always enjoy seeing your capsule wardrobes. If you decide to shorten that new printed turtleneck (such a great pattern!) you could use the cut-off to make a cute head band that you could use to add a pop of color/print when you're not wearing the top.
I've been following your channel and capsule wardrobes for at least 5 years, and this is my favorite one yet -- love the colors and variety of silhouettes. I'm glad you shared your story with the mini skirt too. My body has changed in the last few years and it's a journey of acceptance and compassion for sure. Thanks for sharing! 💚
I have that same Eileen Fisher skirt, and weirdly a similar experience. I've gained weight since buying it, but I think I look great in it now! It does something very good with curves, some magic there. I'm glad that you're wearing it again.
Nice to have you back ❤️. I would love to hear what you think about the new Organic Basics brand. It went bankrupt earlier this year and then was bought by a big corporation called Delta Galil Industries, which fired all the existing employees.
Came to leave the same comment. I hope this gets discussed. TBH, I haven't been extremely thrilled with the overall longevity of my OB items, but maybe I just arrived too late to the game, even prior to the bankruptcy.
Did they actually go bankrupt? I thought they were just bought out. Either way though I haven't been able to get much info about it or the future of the brand. My contact there said employees were put on suspension though the acquisition and restructuring and they're just now getting back to work. So hopefully in the next couple months there will be more info about what's happening with the brand.
@@NoDecaf7 the things I have from them have lasted ok. But I bought them 3-4 years ago. I can imagine they might had tried to cut cost the last year, before filing bankruptcy 😕
@@NoDecaf7 I bought from them the first time 2 years or so ago, only knickers. They've all been completely worn out, meanwhile i've got knickers from Dim and H&M that are older that are still going strong. It always tears were the mean fabric is attached to the waistband, last time I bought new knickers I just bought them at the mall instead. And those actually have fun patterns!
@@gittevandevelde2208 Yeah, all of my underclothes are completely worn out or on their last limbs, from about a year and a half ago, maybe 2 years at this point. It is disappointing, but telling of the direction the company was heading as they filed for bankruptcy, from what I read from one publication. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from them again, as I've started receiving promotional emails from the site for the first time again within the past week. No thank you.
So cool, I always enjoy watching your capsule videos :) I honestly think that they grey skirt in the combo you showed with the mustard shirt suits you really well. I find it makes such a beautiful feminine hour glass figure... but however, your mindset is SO great I find!! We should wear what we like, not what we think we "can" or "should". Always liked that about your videos! :) The jump suit and the assym shirt I really like as well & how they suit you :) Could you imagine sahring, how you made the assym shirt? I really like the style of it! :) Best wishes from the Alps, Beth
Thanks so much! The asymmetrical tee is pretty easy pattern-wise - it's half a regular tee pattern and then just a large square on the other side with the armhole cut in the top corner of the square opening upward (same as the neck opening). That way when it's on there's a lovely drape under the arm from all the extra fabric. I hope that makes sense? You do need a fairly thin and drapey knit though and you'll want a decent amount on the square side to get a nice drape.
That purple jumpsuit is so perfect! Also I love that you included the mini skirt, it does look great on you! I find it interesting how our perspectives can shift about these things.
Beautiful turtleneck with a gorgeous smile of happiness wearing it… And then this linen shirt… Sweaters… That’s exactly how I feel about basics! Then I have this item. Not much description because it’s so basic. I completely understand the place of basics in a wardrobe but all of these beautiful, bright, unique pieces you have are exactly why I love watching your capsule wardrobe’s! It isn’t just a bunch of basic pieces but rather a unique and personal style that is so fun and exciting. I have recently started looking for colors I actually love and piecing them together with other colors and more and more basic items for a far more interesting style and I’m absolutely having a ball and I loving the things I’m finding! It’s amazing how many beautiful fabrics and quality pieces are made with color and unique design.

Your capsules are a great example of how to do color and pattern in a capsule. Most capsules I see online are boring.
Embracing your (changed) body and looking great in all your chosen pieces! Happy fall! :)

I love your capsule videos so much and have been looking forward to this one. Thankyou! First comment woo hoo XX

Its been warm here as well, but its getting chillier and windier every day.
Beautiful color in your wardrobe! Thank you for sharing!
