    Neat techniques for painting the backdrop. I like the texture that's left in the paint. It kind of makes the trees more 3d. Nice effect. Good video. 👍

    Great video, you make appear so easy, but I am sure that it is not. You are a great artist. I think you understand your subjects.

    That was nice Bill.. I like "technique" videos.. It's always interesting to see how things come together as it progresses.. It looks great on camera. The colors blend well with the foreground and it sure gave dimension and distance to the entire scene. Thanks for sharing. And.. Happy New Year.

    Thanks Bill. That technique will definitely help me out on my backdrop. I’m going to use a thinner material as mine will be setting up against the garage wall. Happy New Year to you and your family. Cheers 🥂

    Thank you so much for sharing your technique. I’ll be looking forward to the cloud painting as well. Watching you do this made it look quite simple and easy to follow but I’m sure it takes practice and it is amazing to see how those simple strokes turned into such a realistic and beautiful backdrop. Great tutorial. You didn’t show us how to slap the easel when cleaning the brushes. Lol.

    Seam is seemless , tremendous amount of depth added from the roadhouse or abouts side of the mountain. Looks Great

    What is the white cord for? Auto tap ?

    • @williambryant5946
      @williambryant5946 3 года назад

      Maybe he's wearing a microphone and that's the cord for it. He's got really good sound and his voice doesn't fade out when he gets farther away from the camera so microphone cord is my guess. 👍

    • @modelrailroadadventureswit6347
      @modelrailroadadventureswit6347  3 года назад +1

      Yep a microphone cord. I have not invested in any audio visual gear. Everything i shoot is from my phone and corded mic 😄

    • @williambryant5946
      @williambryant5946 3 года назад

      @@modelrailroadadventureswit6347 Nothing wrong with that because it works really good and you can be heard all the time, it's not too loud and doesn't fade in and out. If its working just fine and the cord doesn't aggravate you then why spend money on something else? Buy more train stuff with the money. 👍
