@@TrevorJonescreator Sean from think medias, Smart phone film making with capcut and yours. I do everything on a s22 ultra so that's why I wish yours were more geared towards phones as well but I am gonna apply what I can to get similar effects on my videos just using the android app
Sean is great! I'm considering creating a Mobile CapCut course, but I haven't decided. I just want to make sure there's an audience! To be totally honest, since his course IS geared towards mobile, and you're on mobile, I'd get his course at this stage. The apps are similar from mobile to desktop, but not the same. I can't bring the background over text layer what you do around 2:20 in this video. I don't know why for some reason my text layer always stays on the top in capcut. I have tried to copy 1 more background and drag it over text layer but it doesn't work , even I tried copying a text layer again and put it below the background but it just doesn't move to the below layer, it always stays in top. what to do?

Would love to find the blend video mode you use in CapCut mobile (can't find it at all).
Otherwise great video 🎉
On mobile, you need to add an overlay first - one video or photo on top of another. Then click on the top layer (which is at the bottom!) and the Blend button wil be third from the left.

Pexels.com may have some but you can also use an app like this fas.st/t/PVRkajXj to download them from YT. You can also make your own really easily, like I show in one of my Ali Abdaal videos.

HI at 2:18 you dragged the video upward and text downward but its not moving in my PC whats the problem its stick with one another(text stick with compound clip)
Go to settings > edit > free layer check box and start new project
why that free assets are not yet delivered
I tried moving the compounded clip on top of the text but it doesn't seem to work for me. Both the clip and the text move together😪

I can not drag the background above the text layer as presented in 2:19. Text layer has fixed position and nothing can't be dragged above it.
Maybe a pro-feature?
Go to settings > edit > free layer. Check the box. Create a NEW project and try it! Lemme know if that fixes it!

Sir why you using capcut so much ? Is it really better than premiere pro
It's DIFFERENT. A different program for different people. It's beginner friendly and has some features Premiere Pro can't touch. But Premiere is a professional program with way more flexiblity and control. The reason I'm making CapCut videos is that a LOT of people are interested in CapCut. It has some insanely fun effects and transitions and it's super easy to learn.
I use Premiere Pro 98% of the time. It has a much steeper learning curve, but I've been editing for nearly 25 years so I'm very comfortable with it. I'll be making Premiere Pro tutorials in the future as well as other YT and filmmaking videos.
The best program is the one you're good at. When you get to the point where the one you're using can't do stuff you want to do, maybe it's time to switch.
CapCut may be all some people EVER need. Others may want to suck it up and go throught the Premiere learning curve day 1. It just depends on you and your needs.
I DO sometimes use CapCut for the effects and for the noise removal. It's REALLY good. Fun fact: I used it to edit a video of my granddaughter doing "magic" - was WAY easier in CapCut! Would have taken 10x longer in Premiere and After Effects!
