(2:41) Nice animation story. Just a little critique, I would have added a small center gap in his smile throughout the video to give it that personal effect. Keep up the great work.👍🏾

This man handed over $100,000 as a gift to Jesse Jackson, yet wouldn’t give his own mother the money she made on his newspaper route she did while he was at holiday camp. Not very generous down deep.

@@DeeperThanRead It’s a fact. I just saw the mom interviewed on PBS special. He denied his own mother her money for doing his paper route so that he wouldn’t lose his job while he was at summer camp. She was kind enough to do it. He should have been grateful. Instead he figured he could take advantage of his mother and request her salary for it. I never even asked my parents for any money. I baby sat and saved my own money. My Mother cried and pleaded for me to borrow money from her. I never asked. This guy ruined it for me when I heard his mother say it from her own lips. That’s heart breaking to me. If I was there, I would have confronted him on that. There’s no kindness there. He may be a great man, and impressive tbat he had guts to “go for it” in business. But, I would not forget the part that counts the most, his mother. Instead of being grateful for her helping him maintain his route, he was greedy instead. 🤷🤷
@@LGAussie glad you did a deep dive of Reginald F. Lewis' life and you pin pointed exactly the nature of this episode - a highlight of his business acumen and business accomplishments. The episode was not created with the goal of speaking on all the nuances of his life and his overall character, but thanks for doing a deep dive on other personal parts of his life.
He was in a position where he needed every cent $ of his company to grow his success. His mkm giving him that $ was the greatest investment she ever made, not to say she wouldn’t have deserved to keep it but theirs a difference from being deserving and being smart. Just bc you deserve to cash out on a bet doesn’t mean it’s the right choice. You’re perspective is short term and simple mjnded
