I have given up on smart watches for running and walking my dogs. THIS was my watch of choice over 20 years ago. I found it last night and immediately bought it.I love my G-Shock square, but this guy holds a special place in my heart. People have gotten so obsessed with data collection regarding fitness. this things should have been 50 dollars like other ironman model and they would have sold millions of these, destroying these ugly G shock. I dont get it why it's limited..

Kinda expensive for its functionality but I purchased it anyway simply because i am a huge Jocko fan.
its a cool watch, its a nice alternative to my g shock dw5600, back in the 90s the timex watches that had the memo function were a little bit ahead of their time as they would allow you to store your friends phone numbers
I must be old because this watch to me looks just like a normal watch. As those my G-Shock.
For this price point G SHOCK GW-M5610U-1ER is way,way better option than this.I got it from the official Timex store and sold it 2 weeks later.This plastic thing ran +10 sec. per week!I have/had mechanical watches that are more accurate.Dont do my mistake buying it
If it truly was +10 seconds a week, you could have had it replaced under warranty.
Which one would be better for casual daily use, this Timex Ironman Flix or the Casio WS-1300H-1AV? Any clarification on it, please.
Hi. They are so close in functionality. I think it comes down to the one you like the look of. You could get both the Casio is only $30?
I bought one because I love jocko. So comfortable and great features. Much easier to navigate than a gshock imo. The band is wildly comfortable. I love it.

I fell for the nostalgia trap and bought this a couple months ago, but I absolutely adore it! I had this one in the late 90's in my early teens and am happy to have this back. I usually wear my Timex Ironman and Casio G-Shocks in the summer and this was a great addition.
That’s cool! I recently went to Japan and saw a rereleased of my first timex. I was worried it may not live up to my memories… maybe I will try and track one down!

I,m a G Shock collector and even though I never had a prior history with this model,I purchased two.very legible,loud alarm,love the font layout and green tint on the dial(no Ghosting)solar square G Shocks alarms are let's just say lacking in volume and do not have auto flash.
Timex band far superior.I don't need like 48 times zones and honestly the KISS theory applies here.
