- Frozen Factory 1 in 1:02.92. Wow I am so happy with how this run turned out. There's a lot of insane strats in this that shaved off a ton of time. It took a TON of practice to be able to do the last two-thirds of the level at all, but once I got it I actually had semi-decent consistency.
This run was requested by SonicandInuyasha, Hinoki511, and ChaosPunishmentXP. Tell me what else you guys want to see! (Or at least, tell me if you can figure out how to use the new comment system. Otherwise tweet at me or something I guess.) Leave a like if you enjoyed the video!

Wall running on cluds,now thats hardcore parkour.
Running on the sides of clouds... Oh, this game is amazing. I knew that infinite wall-run would come in handy for speedrunning, too.
Have you considered doing a compilation of the things you can do/see with that trick? Stuff like breaking out of Frozen Factory Zone 3, the invisible half-pipe on top of a cliff at the end of Windy Hill Zone 1, and so on.
As for speedruns, I'd like to see Tropical Coast Zone 4.
You just listed about half of the stuff total that I know of that you can do with that trick.

You can break out of bounds in Tropical Coast 1... dont know a whole ton of other things. The level design in this game isn't conducive to sequence breaks.
Paraxade0 I've tried getting on top of the cliffs there, but I can never seem to get high enough to clear the invisible walls. Is there a specific place where you can do it?
No, you cant get over the cliffs. What you want to do is go either at the very beginning or the very end, right before the spring, and then wallclimb as high as possible... then when you reach max height spindash and jump over the end of the cylinder. You'll break out of the cylinder gravity and start freefalling.

I used to tell myself that one day, I'd have a world record time in a Sonic game but then you pull this sorcery and completely shatter my expectations o_O. Figuring out how to break that game like that...absolute insanity

Your spin dash is somehow faster than mine.
You are most likely just pressing ZL and releasing. You have to mash A while holding ZL to go faster. It's like charging a classic spindash.

I have a question, once you know what movement is fastest for a part of the level, it's 'easy' to just try and do that, but how do you get to that point? How do you figure out the fastest series of moves?
