Hello, I am TheTimTracker. Welcome to my crazy beard and mustache driven life! Sapphire falls is my favourite resort, despite it not being a deluxe resort. It’s just so beautiful in my opinion.

I was skeptical about this hotel, but after seeing it, I really think I want to stay there. it looks amazing! I like the carribean, florida theme, it works there and they updated it so it doesn't look dated. modern carribean.
It was so awesome meeting you guys yesterday! You guys are very nice people. When you stay here you'll love the room (even the non-fancy top room one Jenn keeps pointing to). My wife and I actually had just came down from the room when we bumped into you guys outside the door to the water taxis. Should've shown you how they styled the rooms instead of you guys just getting a hallway shot. Anyways thanks for the videos and making us experts while we're here on vacation!

We stayed there and really enjoyed it. Especially the water taxi. The breakfast was delicious! Expensive. It was $35 each for the buffet with our 10% discount. The room was $200 for Florida residents with premier passes. The bathrooms were underwhelming small showers and nothing that made it stand apart. The cabana bay was the same price and we loved it when we stayed there a few years ago. Much cooler and the rooms were bigger and had more theme. However no water taxi. Never did the pools so I can't comment on them. Also the parking garage is a bummer since you have to pay per night even with a premier pass when universal parking is free.
P.s. I told my husband the same thing Jen! I wanted the pink couch.

Yea modern Caribbean sounds like a good way to describe this hotel to me. It has a really sophisticated look on the inside and such a beautiful and relaxing water are on the outside. It would be a perfect place to just sit out there and watch the waterfall and/or read or play a video game or something like that. Perfect relaxation spot when the weather's nicer and not 2 billion degrees.
Just got back from here this morning after staying the week. Hotel is nice looking and very clean. Everything is pricey as hell though, breakfast without the package is $21.99 per person per day, a beer at the bar will run you $8 and a half shot will cost you starting $15. Water taxi is nice and convenient, however be advised if they see a rain cloud they shut it down so you could find yourself walking back...guess they are afraid of the boats getting wet.
I was here on opening day as well. They were having issues with the room keys, but the staff was very helpful and willing to work with us! 10 out of 10 for this resort!

That is a very small and isolated rain cloud. I've never seen that before, so it was interesting for me to see. I actually thought it looked like a tornado at first.

This is fantastic. What a gorgeous hotel. It's so relaxed, so chill. I think, for opening day, things went pretty well. That line to check in was fierce, for sure, but considering there are *1,000 guest rooms*, I guess that is to be expected.
I can't wait to see inside the guest rooms! Do you guys think you'll get into one before Halloween?

It was a rough opening day for sure. I heard that the computers went down for a little and that really pushed the line to be longer.
It definitely looks like a hotel in a Caribbean setting. We have plenty of resorts here similar to Sapphire Falls, in the Caribbean. Modern but still retaining things to our culture, like food, etc. This one looks nearly identical to one we have here, but instead of boats in the water there's kayaks and stuff.

Oh, by the way, in case anyone is interested. I just went to their website and did a basic search for the end of July. The rates ranged between $249 for a standard double through $529 for a Kids suite. And, of course, seemingly more on the weekends/high volume occupancy dates.
Apparently, the longer you stay, the less it is per night. Also, perks include the free shuttle along with early entrance (1 hour) to Unversal.
Wow it looks great! Wish it would have been open in May. The Cabana Bay Resort was fun and I loved the theme but I think Sapphire Falls looks so much better.

Take lots and lots of $$$, everything is expensive as fuck. Hopefully when you go the crowds will be reasonable, this week they were far too crowded with the obnoxious british

Good restaurants at CityWalk, we ate at Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, and Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

Great Vlog Tim! You never disappoint. I already have my room booked for my stay Sept 5 thru 10 and I have a $150 dining credit. So great to hear that the restaurant food is delicious. The pool and landscaping look awesome and the parks are so close. Can't wait!

I’ve been here and the pool is super fun, the amatista has good food and the person driving the water taxi was super nice but I ordered from like twelve pizza places before I actually got a pizza but overall it was a fun experience

We've never been to (or walked around) any of the resorts but I personally really want to. Due to there being 5 of us though I'm the odd one out so this vlog was a life-saver! Thanks for letting me live through you guys!

It's so bizarre that you went to see it and it's Caribbean themed because I just got back from my honeymoon in the Caribbean two days ago! We went to a real rum distillery and also learnt all about rum haha!!
Looked at taking the three kids there for 5 days/4 nights. With airfare from DFW it was going to be pretty close to $10,000...... Ten Thousand for a 5 day trip, just not worth the price!
Hey Tim and Jenn! I love your videos of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. My son and I will be staying at the Sapphire Falls here in 2 weeks. Arriving July 30th and will be leaving Aug 6th. I really do hope I run into you guys one of the days at one of the parks. Def'ly want a picture taken with both of you. I been watching your youtube videos since I booked my reservation last July. We are coming from Missouri. Love you guys both! :) oh yes, i have a Tim Tracker tshirt too!

I don't understand why they would open the resort when it's not completely finished. What a terrible first impression. That's like going to a new restaurant and only getting 50% of what's on the menu. Maybe it's just me and I expect more from a destination resort. It looks nice though!

syntaxlies82 The Expo part wasn't complete, the lights weren't working around the pathways, etc. It's details like those that make your stay better.
+Michael Warbux the conference center doesn't make anyone's trip better unless you have business being in there. If you don't want to see construction then just don't go to Florida because there is always construction going on. As for the lights and whatever the ect. Stuff is I guess they should have just canceled everyone's reservations and told them to go home because they don't want to make a bad first impression. Honestly my first impression is I can't believe this hotel is budget, because it's stunning. That's me though.

Me and my other half are going to Florida in October staying along international drive for a week and Kissimmee for another week and going to all the parks obviously but we wanted to know if you could give us any ideas to do other then the parks and also any good restaurants and places to eat out that you would recommend???? 😁😁😁😁 I'm so excited to come to Florida!!!

i couldnt believe how close the hotel is to islands of adventure. i noticed doctor dooms fearfall in the back ground. will be in for a shock in sept 17' when i go as it will be 7 years. so much will have changed what with downtown disney and avatarland and even harry potter at universal studios too. one thing i cant wait to try is the cowfish. saw the video you did on that and it looks awesome.

Just got back from universal Monday and we stayed in cabana bay hotel and it was amazing, great room and everything can't wait to go back
