Wallace and Walter Scott twins always putting it down so chill and so smoove , over the years, along w/ other musical brothers-in-arm ... i.e. Lavelle Degree and since deceased Marcus Hutson, Don Otis Cooper, Nicholas Caldwell and Gordy Harmon ... came to together in Watts in 1963 and never broke up as a group .... until fellow band brothers like Marcus, Don, Nicholas and Gordy were called home by the good Lord! Thanks for many years of sheer enjoyment spent along w/ my pops and my uncles - all from the 60's, who brought me into the appreciation of this group and other mesmerizing music of their generation! I can still hear their good-natured admonishments ... "you don't know nothing 'bout no music junior"... haha, sho' me right!
They weren't the first w the in step dancing but The Whispers did it just as good, Nicholas Cardwell w the beard created the dancers, rest in peace, Nick! Great reaction!
Oh..I haven't heard this song in years❣ I Love💖 The Whispers. They have so many great songs. From the early 70's well into the 80's. Thanks Just Jamming ✌
One thing i know about you since ive been hooked on your reactions is that you do your homework and research on these artists....so im sure you will do more reactions to this GREAT group and react to their MONSTER hits like Rock Steady, And The Beat Goes On, It's A Love Thang....those are CLASSICS....you really stepping up with the variety of artists.....LOVE IT
Smooth. The double and alternating vocals from the brothers are flawless. Even live, it's hard to tell at times which brother is singing or if it's both. What about some Maze f/Frankie B. Southern Girl or After the morning after depending on your mood.
I'm from this era. Life was different. The black culture was different. Going all the way, was not smashing. Girls acted shy. You had to smooth your way in. Once in, you had to make love. This wasn't Curtis talking about he's into havibg sex, not into making love. No cell phones, no texts. You had to impress her parents on a landline. You had to go pick her up at her parents home. Suits at clubs. Different times. We loved it.
Man it's good to see you enjoy ing yourself. Check out their song In The Raw. Still can't wait to hear you react to You Are In My System by the group The System. 😎🎸👍
The twins killing it again on vocals!

Great Group .... a lot of legendary groups of the 1970's & 1980's in which We grew up on
The Whispers were an underrated R&B group but they were one of the best at it..... great music ( instruments and vocals ) is rule, not the exception
They were NEVER underrated.
One of my favorite groups. Love them, smooth, great harmony, the twins are amazing.❤

Quite a few great cuts from these twin bothers. My favorite though is "Rock Steady". If you like killer beats, that's the one.
My jam! I love The Whispers

Smoothest R&B group ever, PERIOD. 💯®️🎶
The 70's was amazing for music... I adore this song ❤️❤️❤️

Nobody sounds like this Iconic group. NOBODY.

What you know bout this. Love land ayeeeeeee booty call hit 😂😂😂
You should listen to Surface 80"s (You are my Everything) song and (I Missed) song.
REAL music!
As always the steps then on each end the twins
Great singrrs
This group was good for obvious innuendos
Solar Records studio band was tight!!
I almost forgot about this track. The beat & production are nearly identical to Marvin Gaye's "I Want You".
