Glad to see the transfer window is looking more like it should, unlike last year with FFP terrifying near enough every team.
Considering we were very close to the PSR limit at the start of the transfer window and we had no choice but to sell one of our best players, we have "in my opinion" not only got in a one for one replacement for Luiz, but we've managed to bring in 3 players in Onana, Barkley and Barrenechae who can all slot into the middle of the midfield!! Plus we've got philogene, illing junior, Maatsen, Archer and Nedjelkavic who's just come in from being loaned back to the club we signed him from. All we need now is a right wingback to challenge cash, and at least one more central defender. UTV

Douglas luiz has been average since kamaras injury
He was toss in the second half of the season. Tielemans was more important by the end of the season.

Villa and West Ham made some great buys!
Productive window for Villa and they've improved their squad depth, even if their starting XI is debatably weaker. I do think they'll struggle in the league this year with CL football and other teams improving, probably finish 7th or 8th.

villa going in for felix, Atleti's asking price was set at £51m whilst Villa were only able to pay £27.4m, sell duran for 30, problem solved, he was bought for 19
It's been a Brilliant transfer window ,selling Douglas and Tim (iroebunam) but bringing in next level players like ross Barkley and the English neymar Philogene UTV! EDIT: Did i spell iroegbunam right?
It's has been a brilliant window we just need to get a RB and get rid of the mercenary for hire in Durán and replace him with someone who wants to actually be at the club imo. You spelled Iroegbunam right in the edit just not in the brackets lol UTV.

Emery generally prefers 4 - 4 - 2 . I think Aston Villa should hijack West Ham's move for Niklas Füllkrug. Füllkrug and Watkins would be an amazing duo in Emery's Villa. They would complete each other
We haven't played a 4-4-2 under Emery atleast for ages probably back to the Ings days and it didn't exactly work out. I don't see us changing to a 4-4-2 now is basically what I'm saying.

Villa probably finish outside top 6 next season. Thier squad is not ready for managing Champions League schedule. You can't rotate the squad for Champions League games.
We didn't really rotate for the Conference League either we'll be ready for the schedule just the injuries caught up to us last season as it did for most teams it was riddled with injuries last season.
I don’t get this argument. We had a European season last season and got very late into the competition and still finished 4th in the prem. and now we’ve just strengthened our team with depth. So how do we finish out of top 6?

@@jackkinoff6943 and four of the teams you’ve just mentioned, we finished higher than them last season and we also had European football when they didn’t. And we’ve now had the best transfer window arguably out of all those teams.
