    Dracula is the only piece of classic literature I have ever read from beginning to end and I must say it gave me the creeps! I can only imagine what it must have done to its Victorian contemporaries who had not been desensitized by movies.

    • @redfoxvoice
      @redfoxvoice  3 года назад +24

      Well said! I also often try to imagine truly experiencing works of art (and other phenomena) for the first time as those contemporaries experienced them. Almost impossible to do, but very interesting!
      Do try some other classics! Have you tried Orwell? A modern classic I guess but certainly worth your time!

You make the characters come alive. I hardly notice the fact that you're actually reading. You put such true emotion into every character's words. I first listen to you read The secret garden. When he does the voice for Van Helsing it sounds like Edward from the League of Gentleman and it's made all the more entertaining for me because of this

    Amazing work. The tone of voice, the inflections, truly wonderful. The only issue I found was the speed of the reading. at 1.25% speed it's almost perfect. But all in all it's a wonderful reading and I truly enjoyed it.

    Bravo, my friend! This is great. I've been listening to this every night for the last 3 or 4 nights. Your voice is dare I say on the same level as every one's favorite narrator, the always fashionable Morgan Freeman.
    The only down side is I keep saying things to me wife like; "Oh Jennifer, I'm dreadfully tired."
    It gets worse. Around my buddies I keep saying "Fancy!" (in a British accent of course) instead of "awesome". Like the other day when we were watching the Red Sox. I was like, "holy sh*t! did you see that fu**ing "Fancy" (in a British accent don't forget) catch!?!
    Just doesn't have the same ring to it. And my buddies stopped hanging out with me. 😢

      😂 My sincerest condolences Friend Scott, it seems as if you have found yourself in a spot of bother!
      PS. Morgan Freeman?! *fist-bump*
