The looting with the bow works only if the bow is in the offhand slot, sorry for the mistake👐

3:56 - The curse of vanishing DOES actually work on all items it can be applied on.
The Minecraft wiki, (minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Curse_of_Vanishing) states that the item will disappear ON DEATH.
Meaning, of course, you must die ingame to have it disappear. Throwing it out doesn't do anything. :)

7:07 Actually, that does work. But you have to have the bow in your offhand, and the sword in your main hand. I use this trick all the time to get ghast tears
idk about the offhand thing but i know that if you switch the bow to the looting sword you get extra loot as long the sword is in main hand.

When I was younger I used to believe that the curses had levels as well and I thought that Curse of Vanishing II would completely get rid of all the items in your inventory, so I was very afraid to have it in my gear.

@@alihasanaxe4936 the first enderdragon dissappear for no reason and respawn the new one, the dragon should explode and giving tons of xp but in manhunt didnt. So its 100% bug nothing else

Fun fact: on bedrock edition (and maybe in java too) fire resistance potion protect you from fire/lava but not from lava in cauldron. All entities will burn with lava in cauldron,also mobs immune to fire and mobs with fire resistance effect.

For the ender dragon myth, many people have been saying it is actually true because of Dream’s manhunt. What actually happened was that they put the crystals so that the dragon respawned as it died, which would normally give both achievements, but either I am an idiot when I was testing it or the server was bugged. It is very confusing, and I am tired of repeatedly testing things.

No, the dragon was /kill-ed for dramatic effect, the dragon cannot be respawned even when the previous dragon is in its dying animation. The manhunts are scripted, sorry to break it to you. The tool-assisted boat craft earlier in the video should've been a dead giveaway of that.

Here’s a myth: I used to think with a smithing table you could upgrade iron armour in to diamond armour and I use to think that with an anvil you could put something like protection on a sword with an enchantment book on bedrock edition
Well, smithing table can only be used to turn diamond necessities into netherite ...
U cannot turn any other armors or tools into diamond netherite or literally anything!
In bedrock u can't put protection on sword!....
I play on both editions so I guess I'm right

in the right conditions, a lava mlg can actually work. you basically need to place it on the side of a block, a few blocks above the block you're landing on. you'll take damage from the lava, and if timed correctly the i-frames from the fire damage will stop you from taking fall damage.

This sentence is perfectly fine, though? I don't see the problem with it. Are you talking about the word "myth" meaning the same thing as "lies"? If so that's not accurate. A myth is a false OR a unproved / unfounded assumption. Myths are not always false, just unfounded guesses which may or may not be true.

I don't know if you know this or someone else pointed it out, but the way Curse of Vanishing works is, when you die, the item with that enchantment disappears entirely, rather than just drops. Using the gold pickaxe and the Binding Chestplate as an example, if you died right there with a bed next to you, you could get the chestplate back but the pickaxe would be lost completely.

At 4:02, I would like to point out that curse of vanishing and binding are different things, and although curse of binding only applies to any items that go in an armor slot, curse of vanishing applies to all items. Curse if binding means that you cannot take it off unless it breaks/you die. Curse of vanishing means that the item will disappear on death. You can drop it manually (as in the video) but in the video it's meant that it has no effect on the pickaxe.
it would be cool if mojang added Autosmelt Enchantment which can be obtained by killing witch ( Same chance as wither skull Looting I 3.5 perecent Looting II 4.5 and Looting III 5.5 )
maybe found in mineshaft, end city or bastion that would be cool
( or i guess they can also add potion of Autosmelt. by it's name it's easy to guess it will auto smelt ores and blocks )
The myth about the looting sword and bow, is not a myth. You just had to put the sword in your main hand, and the bow in your off-hand.

@@sophomore_096 yeah if it's a player kill it checks if the player has looting in his hand. And if it has, the drop-rate increases. (I personally got a wither skull by doing this)

3:57 Curse of Vanishing causes items to be permanently lost on death. Curse of Binding is different. As seen in the video, it causes your armor to stay on you no matter what.

When you fall on the bed, you quickly right click the bed before you fall right on it.
After sleeping you will get fall damage.

The shoulder inside the shoulder is actually possible in Minecraft, but it has to be through glitches, and if it's not through glitches, it cannot be done in survival/without cheats.
4:00 it's probably because the enchantment only works while using/wearing item
6:54 - it works only when you have your sword in main hand, so you have to shoot something and before the arrow hits and kills the target, you have to switch to your sword - then you get looting by shooting with a bow
1:20 you can all you have to do is put a hopper on top of the furnace and the shulker bok on top of the hopper
That looting myth is true try holding the sword on main hand after shooting ,that's how to make it work

I think curse of vanishing is different from curse of binding. From what I understand, if you die with an item that has curse of vanishing, it will disappear and you won't be able to get it back. Alternativly, curse of binding causes armor to get stuck on you and it will be unremovable until you die.

4:55 this actually only works on bedrock, This is because when you take damage while falling you won’t get fall damage but get the other damage you took instead (eg: snowball, arrow, fire etc) but this is unlikely and if you wanna survive using this technique you need to get hit by something while it overlaps the fall damage
MLG Lava Bucket does work but it's because it deals damage, any source of damage can be used to trigger invincibility frames and completely nullify the fall.
4:01 The golden pickaxe had Curse of Vanishing on it, not Curse of Binding. Curse of Vanishing just means that it disappears when you die, and it works for any item. Curse of Binding only works on armor though.
I remember being able to put shulkers with items inside other shulkers. The only issue is that after breaking the outer shulker and putting it back down, the items in the inner shulker disappear.
I like how he said in 10:11 that 'But WEAING unenchanted armor will do the exact same damage as if you don't wear any. It says WEAING
4:27 The lava *will* save you if it's deeper, but it's true that you can't MLG with it, because its just a single block of lava
