I don't know what to say here so I'll just thank Pavise and this series for partly being the reason why I decided to get citra and emulate Fates. I was originally gonna play it for the memes and loredump the Fates lore to my boyfriend but I'm like 8 chapters in the birthright route and the gameplay is honestly addicting. @falxblade1352 omg YESSS I feel like what hurt Fates was its story, it was too ambitious. Apparently the guy behind the writing wrote like 1000 pages of lore hence why it may seem like a lot. Not only that but if you consider the fact that Fates came after awakening with a fantastic story that also, you know, saved the franchise, then I can understand why people were disappointed by it. Hell I've been making a loredump word document to share with my boyfriend so he knows the Fates lore as a meme, I'm currently 8 chapters in for the Birthright route and I'm only at 14 pages. It's going to be a hell of a lot longer than that once I finish it
Ikr!! I played Conquest recently and it's genuinely one of the most fun FE games I've played? The game is so good (but the story ... 🥲). I'm planning on playing Birthright soon
Honestly that could work as a meta thing like... Imagine a fire emblem that break the fourth wall and force you to fight a formidable enemy. Like for example. Imagine if you get to fight someone like Featherine Augustus Aurora

While we're thanking pavise for rekindling fates interest, it got me back into it and to try to rewrite the stories.
