AWESOME VIDEO! watching the construction of the buildings was breath-taking even for just computer animation.
Wow such soothing music, it's wonderful, it's brilliant! I also love the video especially the last part. The sync with the music was great.

To let anyone who is interested know, the high school in my area Is going to be the first ones to perform all 12 movements live in the entire world. 3 concerts (1500 tickets total) have all been sold out so they're offering Internet streaming. From what I understand this will be the first time they have ever attempted to stream a concert so things may not be spectacular.
I have to admit this was one of the best videos I've ever seen and one of the best songs I've ever heard ;)

I completely do not get why they didn't have wonder animations in civ v. Also kinda miss palace creation from civ III. I know they have no real gameplay bearing but they were very nice aesthetics.

This is a great video to show just how much ingenuivity and creativity humanity has created.. along with other things. But, im just amazed at how far we have gotten so far. From the pyramids, to statues, to skyscrapers. Beautiful creations like that should be the prime of the world today. Not war, not destruction or anything like that. Creation, and I know that us, humankind WILL somehow make it through all the tough shit in this world. We've gone this far, we cant stop right now.

Man, this is a great deep song. Based on the Lord's Prayer but in Swahili kind of shocks me at how unique and beautiful it is. This is a song that must be known.

The composer of this song (Christopher Tin) is releasing an album in October with 12 songs in 12 different languages (Baba Yetu is one of them). I think the album is called "Calling All Dawns".
My full orchestra plus the choir is gonna play this, should sound amazing.

Excellent video. Baba Yetu is such a powerful piece of music, I can't believe they removed from the main menu in the civ 4 expansions.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are pretty great....then again, Babylon in general was just awesome :P
The great wall part was done very, and timed very well too. I think that that clip form the intro to the expansion...doesn't fit as well.
Still, great vid! And of course, kudos to Christopher Tin for writing such an amazing song, no matter what religion it's about, or what religion you happen to be.

this game is an awesome way to gain a true understanding and appreciation for history. i think that if schools implemented this game and reinforced teaching about the elements of the game that this could be a very effective tool in teaching history as well as being the greatest pc game of all time. and since history is my favorite subject i would personally love to teach a class through this medium
