One of the best putters ever. I was in the market for a new putter, and tested a bunch. It came down to the Cleveland HB #11 vs the evnroll ER8v... and both were equal in feel. One was $150, the other $350. Got the Cleveland and it has been my best club purchase I’ve ever made.
Love this, Matt. I was one of the posters who touted the praises of this putter, so since I already own and sport the Cleveland HB Putter (#4) , I'm not looking to win this one, but hopefully someone who really needs it will win. Good luck everyone. Glad you loved it Matt!!! 😊
This putter was in my bag of borrowed clubs a few weeks ago. Putting is the weakest part of my game . Managed to bang in a couple of 20 footers. Gave me lots of confidence. Nothing like my usual putter which is a mallet. I think I will be getting one of these beauties.
Easily my favourite golf related RUclipsr at the moment mate. Love how you're keeping things genuine, simple and still managing to produce great content. Keep it up 👍🏻
Cleveland makes great clubs. Great customer service too. I lost my head cover to my Huntington Beach 11 and couldn't find one on eBay or Amazon so I called Cleveland customer service to see if I could buy one and they sent me one for free. Couldn't believe it. Nice review Matt
Looked at the Cleveland, but went with one of Wilson Infinite putters. Lots of good options there as well. It would be good to see a comparison of the “budget” putters.
I've been using the Cleveland Huntington Beach Premier 8 since it's launch. I wanted a blade punter that was thick? Looked cooled, had a milled face (SOFT is an upgrade) and had a thick more "Premier" grip. In the words over on the other side of the pond.... "It's been delightful.". Pure contact and soft less plastic putts. It's up to the putter and not an insert. (It's for my other set in my other residence) The Scotty Cameron I use is It's bigger brother with a harder face. The gray black stealth Huntington Beach Premier looks "premier" and plays that way. Second time out, another group member had the putter in the video. It is often overlooked. You should get a "Premier" if Cleveland 'sponsors' another video. 😉 ⛳ 🏌️♂️. (Great video) -Cheers
I just recently added a Huntington Beach #1 to my bag. I tried a friends Scotty special select Newport 2 and really liked it, but didn't want to spend that kind of money on one. A week or so later, I was at a sporting store and was blindly trying blade putters that didn't have the wrapping still on them and really liked the feel. Thanks for the videos!
Im using a cleveland huntington beach putter myself and tested an ancer, a scotty and spyderX. Not a tiny difference at all in roll, feel or outcome. Just the sound it is. Switched the standard grip to a superstroke and since then im tellin everybody, get u a huntigton beach and you will be fine the next 10 years at least 😛
Quality putters from Cleveland. I got my Huntington Beach 2 putter last year and it’s seriously good quality for the level of golf I play (play off 16.2). One of my favourite parts is the grip, perfect size!
I traded in an old Scotty Cameron Detour and some cash to pick up a blackout version of the Cleveland HB Soft 4. The feel, even with a harder ball is as nice as the balancing. That and the looks of the blacked out version is top notch.
I hate my putter and actually have been looking into these putters so this would fix a lot 🥺 but I’m glad you did this video. It’s like you know what I needed to see right now
Thx for this review Matt. I am looking to out fit my bag with new Cleveland irons and woods and did not consider a Cleveland putter until now. I would to rock a complete Cleveland bag. Thanks once again.
I got the #4 premium as a birthday gift and honestly couldn’t have been more than impressed 3yrs later. Thankfully it was one of the few left handed blade putters out there and so far I haven’t found anything better
Great to see some quality performance equipment for under £100 in the world of golf! So you don't have to spend £200 + to help improve your game. Looks great too! I've owned 2 Cleveland wedges for 14 years now and they've never let me down. Ì think it's testament to Cleveland for the way they produce good quality gear at a more affordable price bracket year on year. We can't all afford the top 4 marquee branded clubs, so keep up the excellent job Cleveland. 👏 Oh, another great review Matt!
Just bought one of these secondhand for $90 AUD and fitted with a Super Stroke 3.0 Flatso grip. My goodness, what an amazing investment that has turned out to be. I love it
I'm presently using a 25-yr old Greg Norman 'Earl' high-roller putter, and it's 'high-time' I updated! That Cleveland Huntingdon Beach putter will do very nicely, thank you!
3 or 4 years ago I picked up a "demo" Huntington Beach Cleveland putter for $35. Put away my Ping Zing & Odyssey putters & have kept it in the bag. Edel Brick is the only option I've considered.
A "few" years ago I decided to treat myself with a Scotty. Went to the shop and tried them. Tried some other putters... just "to see what". And I walked out of the pro-shop wielding a Cleveland Huntington beach (there was no SOFT tech back then, but it felt a bit better than the Scotties I tried, and at a third of the price, it really was a no brainer). I still play it (I've changed the grip twice but that's about all). I've never been tempted to change it, as it works, feels great and looks really decent ! I'd like to try the "SOFT" tech, though...
I have always been a fan of the anser-style putters, so this putter really appeals to me and at $145 here in Australia, it's price point makes it even more appealing. Thanks Matt, good review!
I purchased the HB Soft 8, upgraded the grip and shaft and personalized it as well for 160.00 US. I have to say I absolutely love this putter. If you’re looking for a new putter and don’t want to break the bank I highly recommend these. They have blades as well as mallets
G'day Matt. Now retired and in my 70's..and just taken up Golf. Presently using borrowed Clubs but about to buy some . My 14yr old Grandson saved up and has just bought this putter and loves it. , This video has convinced me to buy one as well, but I might hold off for a few weeks though in case I'm the lucky one ??
I will give this to someone as 1,I'm a lefty and 2 I already own and play the #11 of this putter. Only criticism I have of these is the lightish weight, comparatively. A few strategic lead tape strips fixed mine right up. Really enjoy this putter and have a scotty studio stainless collecting dust in the closet!
I was one of those original folk who said how good it is. The technology actually works by reducing the spring from the sweet spot meaning there is less of a difference between that and the toe / heel. Still feels beautiful in the hand though
In the last 2 years I've found a driver and new irons I really like. Putter is the one missing piece. My putting is finally getting kind of consistent. Just need a nice new shiny putter to commit to!
Interesting results with that putter off of the toe, Matt. They were still pretty good. I have been using a cheap putter myself which has the horns out of the back of the putter for stability. To stop the head turning in your hand. Thanks for this video as a demo.
I've had the 11S model in the bag for about 18 months now. Had a Spider which I wasn't happy with on short putts, tried an Odyssey, first round with that was bad. Decided to go to a green and practice to get used to the Odyssey, the pro shop had the Clevelands on a great price, tried one and loved it. Sold both the Spider and Odyssey the next week.
Nice vid Matt. I actually tried this exact putter when I did the unthinkable and left mine at home on my practice matt. The head pro grabbed it off the shelf and let me use it for the round. It was so consistent over 18 holes that I went to buy it. Unfortunately he wasn't there at the end of my round and they haven't had them back in yet!
Great to see you look at some clubs that a more casual golfer might look to put in the bag. The Huntington Beach would definitely be an upgrade over what's currently in my set.
Another fantastic video. Always feel like Cleveland and Srixon as a brand are so underated. I'm using a Zstar currently and switched form a pro v and enjoy it so much more.
This putter would fit right in with my Cleveland irons. Been looking at a new putter and after this it may find its way to my bag. Keep up the great videos.
Matt I've been playing for 2 years, get a lot of great tips from young and I'm making fast progress toward breaking 90. Hoping to upgrade from the cheap very used entry level putter currently in the bag.
I'm one of those mere mortals Matt who requires the use of a putter as I can't slam dunk for cheeky hole in ones like your good self! Actually been considering this putter for sometime as I need an upgrade so felt like fate that you should choose to review it, would love to be the lucky winner! Love the content, keep up the good work 👍
Currently use an O-Works Red 7. Biggest influence in putting better for me was getting a 10' mat and a putt-out and just putting in the work to help with feel. Still need to get out on an actual green to work on breaks and up/down hill putts, but definitely a worthwhile investment to me.
Very cool video Matt. I am excited to try this putter out this year. Between the 2023 anser 2d, odyssey tri hot 5k double wide and the cleveland putter which putter gets the crown?
Thank you for the review Matt I have beem looking at the Beach putter and also the Wilson Infinate range as they are in my budget and your review may swing me towards the Cleveland thank you so much.
Hi Matt, very impressed with the consistency you demonstrated with this putter. I've never come across this particular model but, as you say, might be a great addition to your bag !! Another great and uncomplicated video, thank you.
Nice review, I’ve been looking for a new putter and didn’t even think of Cleveland if I’m honest so might just have to give it a shot for that price point.
This is a great shout. I’ve been using a spider mallet since day 1 and I’ve recently fancied switching to a blade. I could get this without breaking the bank or feeling like I’ve wasted loads of cash if it doesn’t work for me. Nice one matt
Bought one of the first Huntington putters the mallet and it has been in the bag ever since. At the time it was about £80 pounds and I couldn't believe how good it felt for the price.
I haven't tried the putters but did get a couple of cleavland wedges and I really like them. Also tried a few hits with the launcher xl driver and 3h. Seem pretty nice but haven't bought any yet
Another great review! I currently use an original #1 White Hot putter and think it is time for an upgrade. Not the most skilled golfer so this putter would be perfect for the forgiveness element.
I have owned several Cleveland HB putters, all fang style, and would put them against all but the elite($300+) putters. I also own an Odyssey Seven and Evnroll ER5 and the Cleveland putters are just as good as the Odyssey and only a hair step down from the Evnroll.
Brilliant video matt. Glad you did a video on the cleveland putters as I was looking into getting one but didn't know if the quality would be any good for the price tag. Sure to say they are really good. Hopefully will help get rid of these 3 putts lol 🤞🏻
Cleveland is seriously underrated. All of their clubs seem to perform better than the price they're listed for.
Love this, Matt. I was one of the posters who touted the praises of this putter, so since I already own and sport the Cleveland HB Putter (#4) , I'm not looking to win this one, but hopefully someone who really needs it will win. Good luck everyone. Glad you loved it Matt!!! 😊

I really like how you're willing to give all brands a shot. Thanks, Matt
Great to see big brands still offering excellent quality clubs at affordable prices.
Bought this putter about a month ago, and have really seen an improvement in my putting game. Glad you’re finally having a play with it!
Another excellent and really accessible vlog. Thanks Matt, of course you won’t be needing your putter if you keep on slam dunking those tee shots 🏀⛳️
Slam dunking but, technically not a hole in one for many reasons.
One of the few that make a center shaft putter now days. Very under rated. Great video.
I've been using the Cleveland Huntington Beach Premier 8 since it's launch. I wanted a blade punter that was thick? I’ve been looking at this putter for a while now. Your review has sold me on it. Thanks Matt.

Literally was looking to buy this putter yesterday! This video couldn't come in better time! Great work, love it!
I traded in an old Scotty Cameron Detour and some cash to pick up a blackout version of the Cleveland HB Soft 4. The feel, even with a harder ball is as nice as the balancing. That and the looks of the blacked out version is top notch.
Ever since I found your channel, I have been binge watching all your videos! Thanks for your great tips and reviews!
Thank you very much for this review. I'm just starting off the game and looking for a putter to establish a consistent strike.
I hate my putter and actually have been looking into these putters so this would fix a lot 🥺 but I’m glad you did this video. It’s like you know what I needed to see right now
Thanks Matt, been looking at new putters but this one wasn’t on my radar, will definitely check it out now.
Thanks Matt. I’m actually considering a new putter this winter. Might have to check this one out. Appreciate it

Great video Matt, Cleveland is really underrated and more people should look at not just their putters but all their clubs...
Good video. Glad to see different options for putters out there, and not expensive at all.... Thanks Matt
Just bought one of these secondhand for $90 AUD and fitted with a Super Stroke 3.0 Flatso grip. My goodness, what an amazing investment that has turned out to be. I love it

Edel Brick is the only option I've considered.
I watch you and your best pals on RUclips every day. Best golfers on RUclips.
I've just recently been looking at putters and was checking these out so this review was really helpful
Been using the HB #4 milled face (in black) for 3 years now. Simply love it.
Great review Matt! That's a solid putter review from a guy who doesn't always need to use a putter.
Great review! Still can't get over your hole in 1 video, absolute beauty! Keep going please.
Great review Matt, you should do some more of these. That putter looks fantastic, love the simplicity of it.
A "few" years ago I decided to treat myself with a Scotty. Went to the shop and tried them. Tried some other putters... just "to see what". Nice to see reviews of clubs from the more economical end of the spectrum. Keep up the good work Matt.

Hmmm havent found it less than $200
Great video, I’ve been wondering about Cleveland putters because I never see them get reviewed. I love the look of the face on this one
Been looking around for a new putter that won’t break the bank. Wouldn’t have considered this one until this video. Thanks Matt!
Great review, looking for a new putter, looks good and for my inconsistent putting speed this may help.
G'day Matt. Now retired and in my 70's..and just taken up Golf. Presently using borrowed Clubs but about to buy some . Been using an older Odyssey 2 ball and it's been working for me but am curious if I should give this putter a try.
Awesome demonstration! Need a new putter ... this looks great!
Found your channel after seeing you on Rick's and I'm loving it, great tips from a great bloke.
Got the HB no 3. 100% agree that it’s great on off centre hits, always gets to the hole. Great review, thanks.
Been looking at these putters for a while. May have to take the plunge now after this. Nice review 👍
I was one of those original folk who said how good it is. The technology actually works by reducing the spring from the sweet spot meaning there is less of a difference between that and the toe / heel. Still feels beautiful in the hand though

Enjoyed the review. I think this was also showing your expertise in putting.
Interesting results with that putter off of the toe, Matt. They were still pretty good. I have been using a cheap putter myself which has the horns out of the back of the putter for stability. To stop the head turning in your hand. Thanks for this video as a demo.
Just picked up a used Huntington Beach 6, for $20. Added an oversized Lamkin handle. Love it.
Great video Matt, have looked at the Cleveland putters before just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Nice to see a review of one
I am really impressed with you trying so many different brands. You never know when you will find something that is special. Keep up the great work.
Matt this is perfect timing video for me. I am in the market for a new putter and this sounds like it's right up my alley. Keep up the good work

one of my golf buddies recently bought the fang type Cleveland Huntington Beach putters and loves it.
Great content as always. Opened my eyes to new putter options and I don't need blu tac to find the toe on a consistent basis.
Loved the feel of this putter when I hit it in the shop. Usually use a mallet style putter but have been looking for a bladed option too...!
Watched this and decided to pick up the Huntington Beach Premier #4. Thanks for the review Matt. I really like the work you do!
Great to see you look at some clubs that a more casual golfer might look to put in the bag. The Huntington Beach would definitely be an upgrade over what's currently in my set.
I love how you get it everything a fair shake. You come in with an open mind and really give the equipment repair shop. Love the videos keep it up
Another fantastic video.
Brilliant review!!! I heard about this putter but never tried it myself. Thanx for doing this review, it provided alot of info. Keep up the good work.
Matt I've been playing for 2 years, get a lot of great tips from young and I'm making fast progress toward breaking 90. Hoping to upgrade from the cheap very used entry level putter currently in the bag.
An old Cleveland Designed By is one of my all-time favorites. Pure butter.
Great channel Matt. My short game needs a novena right now! A new putter might just do the trick,
After handling one in my local golf shop, it's been added to my Christmas list! Great stuff as always, Matt!
I'm one of those mere mortals Matt who requires the use of a putter as I can't slam dunk for cheeky hole in ones like your good self! Actually been considering this putter for sometime as I need an upgrade so felt like fate that you should choose to review it, would love to be the lucky winner! Love the content, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Matt. I have tried the Cleveland putters. I don't remember trying the Huntington Beach modle. I do like the look .
Currently use an O-Works Red 7. Biggest influence in putting better for me was getting a 10' mat and a putt-out and just putting in the work to help with feel. Still need to get out on an actual green to work on breaks and up/down hill putts, but definitely a worthwhile investment to me.
Love this, and I'm massively overdue a new putter! Only part of the bag I've not replaced in the last 18 months!
Awesome video! New golfer and looking at various putters to see which one I should get, so appreciate your review!
Very cool video Matt. I am excited to try this putter out this year. Between the 2023 anser 2d, odyssey tri hot 5k double wide and the cleveland putter which putter gets the crown?
Great video Matt! Looking for a new putter myself and was actually staring at this one to see if I would want it!
I have the Frontline and love it. I havent been able to find anything that I can hit better.
would love to see an updated video with the hb soft milled putters. The price has gone up but so has the quality of the shafts and build
Had my Huntington Beach Soft Premier 11 for about 6 months now, and absolutely love it.
Thank you for the review Matt I have beem looking at the Beach putter and also the Wilson Infinate range as they are in my budget and your review may swing me towards the Cleveland thank you so much.
Nice video! Never seen a review on these putters so nice to see something different.. loving the editing of your videos too 👍
Hi Matt, very impressed with the consistency you demonstrated with this putter.
Great video Matt, seen a couple of reviews on this putter/brand of putter, and they look great.
Great video! I’m in the US and bought a Tour Edge Eden blade, very impressed with it for the price point!
I’m in the market for a putter and that was in my top two. Great to see that I wasn’t far off on my evaluation of it. Thanks Matt!
I've long misunderstood how much putter technology helps. This Cleveland would be a nice addition to my bag!
Great video Matt! One of the best product reviews I have seen on a golf channel!
