I recently got myself "The Founders Trilogy" - I read "Foundryside" a couple of years ago and looooved it so now that I've got the whole series, I'm rereading it so I can move on to the second and third book. It's as excellent as I remember it. I've been successfully focusing on reading one book at a time with "Foundryside", but my "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" copy is looking at me from across the room and I feel like my craving for a dense Victorian-ish story is going to take over. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read it yet, so maybe I should go with my gut and finally give it a go.
"The Daughters of Izdihar" sounds interesting. I'm adding it to my neverending tbr. Thank you, Judith.
I enjoyed The Raven and the Reindeer but wish I had loved it more. I thought this was going to be an obsession for me but I finished and let it go.
Gideon's audiobook is fabulous and really made me obsessed with the story.
Translation State was such a surprise hit for me but also read it pretty much without any context of the world 😂
I loved the Raven and the Reindeer.
I have been rereading the Reckless series by Cornelia Funke. Really fun series
I am listening to the audiobook of Funny Story by Emily Henry.
