The Gateworld page for this episode notes that Kinsey took the Trust agent's hand device and an _Asgard transporter activator,_ so, they say, he could be anywhere on Earth.
Also, a quote from Ronny Cox on that page suggests he _expected_ to return after this episode.

I only just noticed the hand device the Trust agent was wearing. I wonder if they ever planned on eventually injecting themselves with naquadah in order to use the technology. It must have been infuriating to have the device, yet be unable to wield it. If I am not mistaken, that particular ribbon device was the one Osiris had, which had the asgard beam modification to it.

The secret was finally revealed when the secret time lapsed and papers were released to the public. But those papers detail psychic encounters. Sure, they could have been playing around with telepathic spying OR those could have been coded words used to further hide the truth of the actual space journeys of the Stargate Program.

We've technically had both. We have had civilians in space. We also have a civilian vessel that has made it to the bottom of Challenger Deep (deepest known point in Earth's waters). Deepsea Challenger made that trip in 2012. Now the real test would be making vacation destinations out of either... But it's just too damned dangerous. Titan submersible as an example made it nowhere near Mariana trench depths let alone Challenger Deep. Imagine you have people just thinking oh we're going on vacation to space! And take their dumb ass kids or relatives with. One little mistake, and everyone's dead. Like the one pilot years ago who let his kids "fly" his plane. He had no idea they had bumped the controls enough that the autopilot turned off. Everyone onboard, dead because of a stupid pilot letting his brats into the cockpit.

If you notice in this episode, Kinsey grabbed something of the other gu'old after shooting him several times, and we don't see him afterwards. With the alcash ship destroyed I have feeling he didn't die after Prometheus blew up the other ship. Kinsey may have well escaped the blast. But it'll probably never say in this series what happened to him. To back this statement up, he could've probably ringed off the alcash like he did off Prometheus to get on the alcash bomber and then onto the planet 🌍. That's what I believe. But you guys are entitled to believe whatever.

My only question is when he grabbed the hand device off the guy he shot up, why don't we see Kinsey afterwards when the other guys who are also against Kinsey that ordered the guy that got shot up to fire upon the Prometheus, you don't see him after he goes for the hand device or whatever he grabbed. You don't know what really happened. I don't even get that. Therefore I've never in that episode really know what happened to him. Did he escape or why don't they show that and they don't show him being destroyed on the alcash bomber except the remainder of the bad guys. And it's like why, when the last part they showed of him being alive and the ship blew up. Where is Kinsey?

    • @MarkOlshefski

I don't think anyone really cared about Kinsey the character on Stargate but at the same time, it's like is he dead is he not? Did he survive and escape, did he die? I mean, I hope in the series that he didn't escape and he got blown up but the fact is, they didn't show what really happened after he grabbed the thing off the dead guy of what happened.

the shields were down at the first salvo, that has severely damaged the prometheus so they couldn't power up the shields to 100%
