After upgrading my s7 edge to 9.0 the battery starts to drain faster than before and the home button doesn't work after you unlock the phone and if we press the home button after opening any application it hangs the app unless you end it through task button. Can anyone tell me how to solve it?

Once you are in twrp and you connect your mobile to pc, you can see your mobile in pc like you see in normal cases. You can then copy the files in your phone internal memory like you copy any images, songs etc.in root of your phone memory.
@@AbsolutelyTechie thanks for the reply but I got it solved through different method. I had to repair the internal storage file and change the file format to ext2 and back to ext4 in advanced wipe option for it to finally work

Welcome but always be warned that there are consequences of flashing a custom rom and will mostly never be same as stock. Btw flashing the stock firmware is always an option 👌

I don't play many games, but ideally shouldn't have any issue. Mobile is quite fluid
I followed all the steps but the rom file is not recognised in sdcard folder. I cant see where i have pasted the file in twrp recovery mode.
