A decent appointment. Amazing how this show has completely calmed down since Paul Kent got the flick. Gorden Tallis brings his low key, high integrity, real footy knowledge to the role and commands respect.
He's a quality coach. It's good to see him coaching again.

Not a dragons fan but happy for Flano to be getting another go as head coach. Good on the dragons for getting a premiership winning coach 👏

He is a top quality, hard headed coach, it’s what the club needs and he will turn them from their current cellar dwellar rut back into a Premiership force.

Sounds to me that after they get a new coach, they should then piss off the 8 on the board and replace them, I have seen it many times in several codes that the rot starts with the head.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Since his appointment, Hunt has asked for an immediate release and the team has been embarassed against the Warriors and Sharks. Obvious how the players feel about Flanagan being appointed

I’m loving Carr at the moment, hopefully he sticks around. I can see he and Flanno putting a bit of polish on the side with a few astute buys may even sneak into the 8. Hopefully Carr is groomed as the long term coach he’s only mid 30’s.

I think NRL360 needs Ben Ikin more than Queensland. BA can't handle talking about Origin. He also has gotten used to arguing with everyone about everything. Replace BA

Hunt has been and continues to be one of the best halfbacks in the competition going on several years now... there's a reason he's an instant call-up for Queensland and Australia whenever they play.

Didn’t they hire griffin so they didn’t want a recent dragon legend player as coach and that didn’t work, here we go again. Young or hornby would be a good choice too, Flanagan will probably do well.
