    evolution: *gives wings, hollow bones, strong flight muscles, good eyesite, sharp scooping talons*

      Yeah. Nature keeps breaking the rules.

    • @knampf9779
      @knampf9779 5 лет назад +7

      @@redtsun67 He was referring to creationism and evolution being 2 opposite things. In creationism, god "gives" the creatures and species their properties. In evolution, the species develop their properties on their own based on the circumstances they live in. Evolution is more like and inner flow of how things are and where they go, there is nothing "given" from outside of it because there is no outside of it. I think, that's roughly what he meant.

    I thought this was common because I grew up near a park that just had them. For decades now. Like the birds just build burrows wherever they feel like it every year. They have a colony.
    I think park authorities tried to have them removed to another location, since this was a neighborhood park with kids, not a nature park, but found out these were special owls and just had to put caution tape around their burrows.

    You know that Jonny Wurster kid, who that delivers papers in the neighborhood. He's a foreign kid. Some of the neighbors say he smokes crack, but I don't believe it. Anyway, for his tenth birthday, all he wanted was a Burrow Owl. Kept bugging his old man. "Dad, get me a burrow owl. I'll never ask for anything else as long as I live." So the guy breaks down and buys him a burrow owl.
    Anyway, 10:30, the other night, I go out in my yard, and there's the Wurster kid, looking up in the tree. I say, "What are you looking for?" He says "I'm looking for my burrow owl." I say, "Jumping Jesus on a Pogo Stick. Everybody knows the burrow owl lives. In a hole. In the ground. Why the hell do you think they call it a burrow owl, anyway?!"
