Ich war schon immer überzeugt davon, dass sich mein Bohrinselversorger "Aziz" genauso seetüchtig wie das große Original benimmt... so bin ich schon oft mit Ihr auf der Ostsee unterwegs gewesen und im Wellenbad "Piratenmeer" in Büsum war sie zum filmen der "Happy Hunter" als Kameraboot im Einsatz (siehe: • RC Offshore Tug in BIG... ).. nur den Videobeweis dazu bin ich bisher schuldig geblieben,.. das soll dieser Clip ändern :-) Was soll ich sagen,.. ich bin stolz auf sie!
Ein riesengroßes Daaaaankeschön geht an Turweck und meine bessere Hälfte, welche mir diesen Clip überhaupt ermöglicht haben!!

I was alway sure about my offshore supplyvessel "Aziz" beeing as seaworthy as her bigger sisters,.. so I often took her to the baltic sea for a short trip along the coast... in the waves of the wavepool "Piratenmeer" in Büsum I used her to film the Offshoretug "Happy Hunter" for the clip "Happy Hunter im Sturm" (look it up here: • RC Offshore Tug in BIG... )
But... the videoproof of this,... was missing,.. until now! What shall I say,.. I´m proud of her!

Hi Mr.Tigereye, zuersteinmal Danke für Deinen Kommentar. Da RUclips den Antwort Button unter Deiner Frage noch immer nicht wieder hergestellt hat, kommt meine Antwort hier: Die Aziz/Arif ist ein Bausatz von Modelslipway aus England. In Deutschland wurde sie von der Firma Krick verkauft. Zur Zeit allerdings ist sie nur noch in England zu erhalten,... leider. Sie ist ein sehr dankbares und robustes Schiff (im Fahren, der Baukasten ist ein wenig "Problembehaftet" :-)

A group of people dedicated to RC boats. total confidence in the boar their ability to handle her in a big sea and not frightened of the cold. terrific work all round. building operating filming and putting it together. Thumbs up for it.
A beautiful boat and video. Personally I think that you dont need the music. The boat and the weather together speaks for it self :).
Hi Jato! Thank you... we only do use the music, to hide the original soundtrack.. wich we can't use as master in some important parts you can still hear it in the background) as the constant slowmotion used to make the models look more realistic also effects the sound... and if we let the audio track untouched (wich would be my Favorit), it becomes desyncronised... so we decided to use the virtual audio track only as a background.. so to say to underline important events in the video.

Thank you Seriousleisure1, I've never enjoyed a travel on a real rig supply vessel, but I've been on different research vessels also under heavy weather conditions, and what I liked most was standing in the background of the bridge watching the ship move in an against the sea,... and that's what I did in this video, too :-) But you look that you know, what you're talking about...

Hi Moritz, sie ist aus einem englischen Modellbaukasten entstanden. Hier war sie von der Modellbaufirma "Krick" zu bekommen. Der Rumpf ist aus GFK und der Rest aus ABS und Polystyrol entstanden... mit ein wenig Geduld aber nicht soo schwer zu bauen...

Very nice. For a minute I thought I was looking at the real thing. Very nice model, Out of all the tug's, the Anchor Handler has got to be the bad ass of all the ocean going tugs, It's my favorite. Tug looks strong and capable.

Hi Sheldon, the history of the anchor handler is quite tight connected. Most of these awesome ships are based on parts or ideas of each others.. the bridge construction f.e. may be based on the Navy ATF tug.. the hull is more or less based on the Gulf-Supplyer.

Hihi...naja,..dafür sind die ja da,.. immer nur wir oberhalb des Wassers durch die Gegend zu fahren ist doch zuuuu faul. Ab und an müssen die halt auch mal gespühlt werden 🤣...und ja,.. kalt war es definitiv! Nach der Fahrt konnten wir die nicht ausschalten, da das ganze Deck gefroren war! Sie musste erst im Wagen auftauen... aber das hat sie toll gemacht, die AZIZ!

Hi J Bolo,... thanks a lot! You can guess how much fun it was, to steer her through the heavy seas.... and what was much more faszinating was the ice! Actually we had to wait quite a while afterwards to let the ice cover on the superstructure melt enough to be able to switch her off and open the hatch. As the air was below zero all the overcoming water did freeze... that was great!
And yes,.. she´s a fine ship!

Thanks a lot for your kind words .. sorry for the late answer, there were three cams involved.The GoPro did record with 100 pics per second, the Sony Handycam did record with 120 Pics/Sec. and the large Studiocam did catch 50 Pics each Second. But also is was the slowest, it got the best quality... When cutting we could have gone down with the speed even more, but it looked somehow wrong when doing it (because the 25 and 30 pictures per second base).. but, as you may guess, it was great fun!
Wären die Lichter an und würden sich die Radare drehen - man könnte meinen, es wäre ein "Grosser"....klasse Aufnahmen und schöner Bau!!!
Hi Haduwolf,.. Danke Dir 😊👍. Ja, die Radare drehen sich inzwischen,.. aber zu der Zeit sollte das Modell möglichst robust ausfallen, um den Hochseefahrten zu trotzen. Hmm...Licht,... da sagst Du was... das wäre ein Schalter am Sender gewesen 😞... schade.

this is great. you know the kido's are doing great around people that are not easy find. I always remember the cars that matchbox made called the Heavie's , I was 6 or 7 yrs. old when I was offered a chance to see a cabinet display of a super cool Hot wheels collection that I never ever' saw before or after again"!... it's so original that I know those older people are the Church & just the feeling of sharp clarity straight from sound. amen

The ship, climbing and descending the ladder of peril with each wave negotiated the storm safely this time. Many a ship was not so fortunate. Through spray and Ice, Captain Knuckles Magee kept his crew from fighting and the ship on course. Back in port, it is time for some beers and a smile. Hehehehehe. I liked your video.

Ich glaube das gute ist auch, dass da ein Wellenkamm ist. So etwas was dem Wellenberg ne Krone aufsetzt.

Hi RC Gaming,... at least it really was big fun! And you wouln´t belive how proud I am on the AZIZ! ... also it was quite unique.... it was the first,.. and the only time, I had to wait to switch my model off,......... until all the sealing icecover on the hull and superstructure did melt ;-)
We did heat the car and still it took nearly half an hour....
But it was big fun!

Hi Trainkid,... yep.. two german Guys and one german Girl... but yes, you are right! And it really was fun! To sail her through the waves with her deck freezing... afterwards we had to wait for quite a while until all the ice did melt.... before we were able to switch her off O:-)

Hi Cale,..thanks a lot 😉👍. Sadly tutorials (we did some in our more early videos) weren't that welcome, so we decided not to invest big amounts of time (which we would have had to slice off the filming and editing time from the events) into them.. also they really were fun to do 😇.

Sorry,.. I somehow dismissed to answer you,.. I´m sure, if you keep some simple rules, you Trawler will handle this waves with ease! Just keep the weights (batteries,.. ) as down in the hull as possible and tighten your windows and deckopenings... and of course fasten all things under and on deck. And - very important - make a video and put it down here! I´d like to see it very much! Thanks for commenting :-)

JoeOvercoat Hihi,.. you noticed it! Well done! It was in the clip (as in several other videos) to show, that we really use the feed from the boats.... :-) This was one ot the two camera-positions... the other one is with the view to the rear and is mounted directly in front of the two funnels... two mounting-positions were required becaus of the not centered lens of the GoPro :-) So,.. well done! :-) Best wishes, Holger
