Mon Guerlain is such a retro classic sexy , feminine scent . I prefer classic Chypre / oriental scents . Thank you for loving perfume as much As I do . I can’t stand people that hate fragrance

Hi Miss Jodi. TN gal here! I too Love MG and I will be getting a bottle. So far I've only had a smaller vial. I ordered Florale as a blind but due to several YT reviews like yours. I love hearing the folks up in Canada pronounce all the fancy French names and terms. I never knew sillage was pronounced "see-yoj". Thanks for the review. You did a great job!
I just smelled Mon Guerlain and Mon Guerlain Florale today, and I LOVE Mon Guerlain more than the Florale, it’s yummier because of the vanilla in it, planning to back to the store to buy it ‘coz I was planning to buy a Dior fragrance which I did, I bought Dior Addict and it smells fantastic! Love it.👍❤️

I love florale, it's a fantastic fragrance, not keen on mon Guerlain original, because of the patchouli but the dry down is ok
Hi Jodi. I had to come back and fill you in on my experience with Mon Guerlain. I must say that "I will never judge a perfume right away again" . I do not know about Girl of Now though.....yikes. Anyway, I was determined to give Mon Guerlain a 2nd try and am so glad I did. Once I dedicated real time to it and got to know the layers and notes, I fell in love. I have even bought a bottle ( besides the mini). It works so well with my chemistry and develops so lovely through out the day, about 8 full hours and then a bit more much closer to the skin. I have always loved Lav. and vanilla but think I need to stop thinking candles and bubble bath. Its perfection in a bottle and will be on my Christmas list for a bigger bottle.

Someone gave me Bath and Body Works Amber and Argan body cream over the holidays. (It’s discontinued and you can find at their outlets). I was shocked 😳 about how much it reminded me of Mon Guerlain. BBW lotion has amber, quince fruit, and suede.

I like the Mon Guerlain... so much so I picked up 2 bottles. To me it smellls like roasted 🥜 chocolate with vanilla... makes me want to sniff my wrist all day long.

I have watched this video more than 3 times. The way you described Mon guerlain is tempting. I would have to try a sample before I fully commit. The notes for mon guerlain is what I love in my perfumes. I will let you know my thoughts on it. Thanks for this detailed review 😘😘

Always loved The original EDP, but for this winter got a bottle of MG Intense, it is just beautiful! Florale is more for spring/summer in my opinion, it is lighter, more flowery. I ordered a bottle of it too, because I heard it is discontinued.
I love Guerlain's fragrances in general, and I own Mon Guerlain ( not the Florale version though), and adore it. I thought I wouldn't like it because of the opening lavender note at the beginning. Not a huge lavender fan, but it dissipates quickly, and I love it 😍.
Apparently there is a Mon Guerlain EDT coming out soon!! Can't wait to try this new one.

Jodi Peacock ...I purchased Mon Guerlain Florale this weekend. You are right, they are very similar, but the Florale version is just a little more bright and crisp, great for the summer!
Oh... also picked up Shalimar Souffle Intense...I think you would love this one as well.

Hi from Spain fantastic review!!!! I have both of the too. Mon Guerlain is one of my top 10 perfumes. I love it, but I prefer Mon Guerlain florale I dont know why maybe because I adore peony hehehe but I adore both of them!!!

I don’t think I’ve smelled the Florale but I have ordered the original after using a sample for a couple of days and I can’t wait for it to arrive! Love it!! Vanilla and lavender mmmm

I got a scentbird sample, Lovely! A teensy squirt on my little maltipoos back/neck is a fun way for me to enjoy it. They smell heavenly. Lol

i find the original top note which is lavender is too strong for my nose. i loved the dried down amazing but really hate the strong lavender with citrusy notes at first

Hey, this is my second time watching this in a year. I just purchased the florale version, and there is a difference it's mostly in the drydown ,it has a very rich (concentrated) smell that's just beautiful.musky .very similar to the intense version.its gorgeous.just my opinion.I have 3versions so far,the original, florale, intense version.All three are just a Lil different but with the same DNA if that makes sense.Ty
I will directly blind buyung the Mon Guerlan at fragrancenet coz i've eyeing that both for a long time but not smelling yet and since you said that Mon Guerlan stays longer and the smell doesn't change and for sure it smells good so i will go for Mon Guerlan😊 I love flower smells too but i want a longivity is far more...Thanks for this vedio.

I bought mon guerlain intense and i sprayed a bit before i went to my bf house. My bf was licking my neck which he never did that ever.

Mon Guerlain is a masterpiece. I purchased the 50 ml, i lost my mind for it and ran to purchase a 100 ml to be sure is going to be with me for a long time. Is the Florale powdery?

Absolutely adore you! Subscribed! And, I ordered Mon Guerlain parfum from Neiman Marcus and it arrived! It’s so lovely! I’ll hold off on the florale even though I prefer floral scents over vanilla. The original seems like a keeper. Plus, since spraying, everyone I’ve interacted with today in my building has been super nice to me? Hmmmm...methinks they love the fragrance? What are your top 5 perfumes? Have you tried Cartier’s Baiser Vole?!

Jodi, it’s this lovely floral meets powdery lily scent. In terms of my first impression of Baiser Vole parfum to other well/known parfums, I’d say my reaction was the same as it was when I first smelled Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. I had haven’t yet tried it on my own skin (our chemistries are all so different), but I gave a friend a hug the other day and she wore the Baiser Vole parfum! I couldn’t get over how lovely it was and she said she had received so many compliments that day and it was only 9 a.m.!! 💝

As time went on and 2 years past, although Mon Guerlain Edp is beautiful and my favorite I am also obsessed with the intense and the extra vanilla
I have the intense version as well! My perfumes are in storage right now due to moving . I can’t wait to unpack!

Me to lol and the intense version ,i,m torn between la nuit tresor and the intense mon guerlain 🤔
I wanted to love the original mon guerlain so bad but it's just too strong on me. My skin really projects anything with patchouli and I feel that's what happened with this perfume is my skin just projects the iris/lavender and I smell like an old lady 😭 it smells sharp and powdery on me, not comforting or feminine.
Would you consider the florale a mature scent? I'm so tempted to pick some up before it gets impossible to get a hold of.

I love both! Mon Guerlain EDP is my signature scent. My all time favorite. I do love Flowerbomb Nectar is super sweet and lasts a long time. You can’t go wrong with either one. 🦚♥️

Ania C Have you ever just clicked with a perfume? It makes me feel so beautiful and feminine. It makes me feel confident , soft and romantic . It gives me all the feels. It’s a softer sweet fragrance but the lavender adds that unique touch of floral genius! It’s magnifique if I spoke French! Prada la Femme is gorgeous in its own way. It’s a creamier floral scent at first but then turns fresh and clean. I hate to say soapy because it’s like a soap I have never purchased. It makes me feel like crawling into bed with all white sheets and white feather down pillows, Which is describing my bedding to a T! It’s so comforting. I just adore Mon Guerlain so much more. ♥️🦚

@@katialopez4089 In my opinion, they are similar but there is some slight difference. It is very difficult to explain it. The longevity on me is almost the same as EDP. Also, now EDP is on sale at Costco.
