    sorry for the lack of playing in this video guys... there's just so much to go over that i tried to keep it brief, but it's a complex piece of gear.... i make up for it in the other 12 parts :-)

    Videos like this are extremely helpful to understand pedals that seem so complicated. Looking forward to the rest.

    I'm going to enjoy watching these. I've had a Big Sky for over a year and only today I finally got time to make a start on working out what everything does, and how to change settings. One little point: I think you often say "bank" when "patch" might be better.

    I always have trouble trying to explain this pedal to people who ask why I love the pedal so much and what it does for me, I'm going to nick your "flowing through a utopia" line to aide me from now on haha!

    Super review as usual. Having already got the timeline I can only confirm the quality and the attention Strymon puts into building these amazing pieces of kit. This is on my wish list, so in the meantime I will continue to watch these reviews with a touch on envy. Would you describe its capability as 'hench as' :-)

      ***** cheers. Interesting comment about Midi….I wonder how long it will be before you may delve into this. one press and change all 3 strymons and the JVM too. I thought I would never go the midi route, but have just bought a nice controller off flea-bay and no longer tap dancing during my gigs. Anyhows….rock on \m/ \m/

    So the Value knob is a whole nother pedals worth of parameters hidden there? I'm sold, I don't even think the fractal has that level of control outside of its amps.

    Anyone know how to completely bypass this pedal? I just got it and have no freaking idea. Its obviously not like a normal pedal with an on and off button for when you want the effect to be on but I can't find how to do that.

    • @HAIRYBIKER777
      @HAIRYBIKER777 8 лет назад +1

      At any point in time, you have three patches available to you, accessed by the 3 stomp buttons. Whichever one is showing a light is the one that is selected. If you stomp on it then the light goes off and the pedal is bypassed.
