dont overtype, at the beginning you havent built up enough endurance. If you feel pain your hands or forearms definitely take a break. Also, try to relax your arms while typing to prevent something like this

as far as i know you will always have a match even if you are a super high rank, it will try to put you with ranks around your level but i dont think you'll ever just not get races edit: should've watched further in before commenting lol you talked about that

John, is it normal to have some pain at the forearm or wrist when learning to type faster? I've been practising for 2 weeks now

It just forces you to touch type :) start with a keymap on your screen until you don't need it anymore
