I will say that you have done a great job for a first time build. And as with everything you learn as you go. So good work. Although the machine did a lot of the process there is a lot more that goes into it then it seems. Keep up the good work man!
WOW! Totally impressed! My brother Bob works with/knows your dad. You are a very very talented young man! I love your sign in the background also! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
Wow! Just when you thought having a CNC machine would make things easier and faster. Taking 5 hours to program but it was all worth it definitely! Love the beefy tone! Subbed you mate!
Nice I wish I had a cnc machine! Makes things go much faster and makes creating arch tops much easier and precise. To correct the neck angle couldn't you just alter the angle of the neck that connects to the body?
Great job. I see pictures with a semi-hollow body - a Gibson ES-335 - that has the center block all the way to the tail. I wonder what your thoughts are about this.
Had a question just to clarify since I'm considering getting an es335 kit... So you applied the stain, and just spray painted neck/headstock, then sanded, then applied 3 coats sanding sealer, sanded again, and then 7 coats of clear coat?
Well done. I would have angled the neck more, to get more adjustment space for the TOM and more string angle after the bridge but you concluded that yourself already. I think I would have also sculpted/arched the insides of the back and top in the 'chambers'. the You have ended up with a very thick top and back (as is visible at the edges of the f-holes). But that's just a choice I guess: the guitar will sound less hollow which is a good thing if you go for a more solid body sound. Keep up the good work!
Thanks. Yes. That's sounds about right. Everything you said is what I should have done. I have learned a lot on the first build. I'm hoping next time I can fix those issues.
Don’t worry! Those features are just differences from the ES-335/archtop design and make it unique! But if you want to steer more towards the traditional design then yes, those are things you could do different in the future ;-)
Curious. Friend.. do you sculpt the insides if your semi hollow builds. I'm trying to learn myself. Been a player 37 years. But new to building.any advice us aporeciated
Wouldn't it have been better to have used hide glue like in classical guitars for the back and it's binding so it could be easily removed to reach the controls in future?
Fantastic work. Glad to see more people giving the 339 some love. Best guitar I've ever owned. If you are little and/or have back and shoulder problems, they're more ideal than the 335.
Nice build. I'm going to guess that the two knuckleheads who voted thumbs down either did so because they made a mistake or because they've never touched a router before. Keep truckin'.
You can get a better angle behind the bridge by drilling through holes in the body for the strings. Purchase some back and top ferrules, and the instrument will come to life, tonally. You can leave the tailpiece studs in if you want. Just find a couple of nice oval head bolts of the correct thread series to cap them with, or using the tailpiece studs for leverage, you can draw them out with a (tape wrapped) hammer claw, being sure to guard the body with cardboard. I have a video or two of a big semi hollow seven string which I built on my channel. Feel free to check it out.
Yes sir. Story behind that. I was done filming. And realize that I actually never got a shot of that part of the process. So went back to film it. I forgot to wear a mask. But I was only spraying for like 20 seconds or less. But you're right I should have used protection
Don't ever stop creating,great job,beautiful end result!
Sounds awesome ,and looks beautiful! Great job ! Thank you for showing us how !
Amazing job on the build! You have lots of talent. Also, please wear a respirator when spraying.
Thanks. Understood will do that next time.

When you were glueing the neck, I was thinking that your neck angle was way too shallow, but you managed to make it work in the end👍

If you haven't already hit that subscribe button to my channel, it would very appreciated. Thanks.
that's just awesome dude! I'm about everything! I'm russian and I love the song in the end:)
i have a guitar kit but the wood is quiet soft, what kind of wood hardener i should use before do the water based (powder) guitar stain, thanks

Do you still have the cad plans? I’d like you to do what you did!!
Do you have the body molds in PDF to send me?

What's the make/model of your cnc? Any issues with it?
👏👏👏👏
Awesome build, my only criticism is that I didn’t get to hear some Merle Haggard on that guitar!👍
your right a little silver ghost might've been good!
take the strings and put them in backwards and under tail piece and it should make the strings tight over the bridge and saddle
O my. That's brilliant thank you!!! I'm going to do that as soon as possible.

I like the 339 sound as much as the 335

Not that it means anything but I'm actually 18 lol.

Thank you so much. As this my first build and I'm still learning. Glad to hear the feedback.

@@peachmelba1000 Okay thanks. I might need to do that. Thanks for the tips.
can you give me a plans ?
actually I designed this myself in fusion 360. I could give it to you but it would need some work to be used on another cnc.
Great job.
When spraying and sanding .. just for your health and safety you could wear mask and safety glasses.
I like that guitar.
Thanks. Yes I will. I actually wore one but I was trying to get a camera shot and did not think to put it on. Stupid me.
I just made a demo video. Go check it out. It's on my channel!
Tune the guitar when recording next time.
Nice effort! Try and imagine building this type of guitar without using CNC machinery ... oh wait, that's what I do every day for a living ...
The cnc did all the work. This should be called "how a machine makes a guitar"
this young kid made this guitar and youre ragging on him, youre a loser
Please wear a mask when you spray. That stuff is toxic.

dude, use gloves and gaz mask
Right? Why is it that I never think of this stuff till afterwards.
照明のセッティングが悪くて顔がよく見えないですね。
buy yourself some lighting equipment ...and a monitor dude
Monitor???
I didn't like the way you make it. The sound board too thick and flat. Better do it solid. The sound can be the same
fix your grammar
Ridicolo e discriminante
callarse la boca
A string out of tune
Right! That bothers me to this day.
