      @@frankfirewood5384 Yeah... but he shouldn't have lost the Olympia. Hadi was a better bodybuilder than Derek that night, and he's a _significantly_ better bodybuilder now. That hurts. And honestly, Hadi probably made the right choice, because I don't think he could have contained himself if he stayed onstage. Was it a bad look? Absolutely. But I think it would have been a worse look if he'd stayed and continued to show how angry and disappointed he was.
      None of us here have ever fought for anything as hard as a Mr. Olympia fights to win that title. If you think you have, you're kidding yourself. I wish Milos would bring Samson in flat as a pancake but conditioned to the bone in one of the smaller shows just to see what it would look like. I feel like he has so much size that maybe sacrificing that fullness for much better conditioning wouldn't hurt him. And even if it doesn't quite work, being a smaller show it wouldn't hurt him much since he'd win easily most likely anyway.

    • @TakinProfit
      @TakinProfit 9 месяцев назад +12

      If he were to come in “conditioned to the bone” he would be smaller than Raphael Brando. He’s over 300lbs with zero muscle density, lifting light weights and following Milo’s insulin protocol helped build a ton of low quality muscle in a short period and it shows. He’ll never get the hard grainy look without lifting hard and heavy .

    I honestly felt Rafael Brandao deserved second place.. Samson's conditioning was better at the Olympia.. Just because he's the defending champ, you don't deserve second automatically..

    Amazing coverage, Nick! Thank you! Hany interview last night was fantastic. Lots of nice and kind professionals in the sport right now, letting their physiques and conditioning do the talking. Congratulations to Hadi! Well deserved. Insane conditioning. And Sampson looked amazing too. He's a beast. And huge props to Arnold for bucking up the prize money. He wants to own the sport, and he might just do it (unless the Olympia steps up too). Overall, a great show for professional bodybuilding. Can't wait to see all the newcomers (Brazil!!) climb the ranks in the months and years to come 🙂

    The Olympia should raise their prize Money to $1m for men's open since its THEEE bodybuilding competition to compete at. The pinnacle so to speak. These athletes work so hard to build their bodies, they deserve the prize money increase. Its come a long way.

    The has to have been one of the strongest 1st and 2nd placings since Ronnie and Jay! Hadi and Samson look INCREDIBLE! 2 completely different frames, muscled to their ultimate potential. I like Samson and have tremendous respect for him as both a competitor and a Good Person, but it is not his time yet. Hadi is the current world's best. When he retires and moves on it's all Samson.
