You could probably use regular parchment paper as it is used for high temperature baking. I have used regular paper when winding my RC motors and it works well.

Unfortunately can't find short, open circuit or anything else what could cause this. Visually also everything looks fine. Waiting for your answer and help.
the wire comes already coated its called magnet wire do you use a resin like same for fiberglassing polyester resin or a epoxy im guessing will be safer on different wire insulations

explained why they are cheap: winding in aluminum, much cheaper than copper but with a much lower melting point (600 ° C versus 1085 ° C) just put it under stress for a little more than expected and goodbye good old friend!
Good one but commutator connection not clear.looks like Each winding end point connec to one commutator segment behind the starting commutator segment. I am I right. If it is clear this is best video I have seen in the u tube

I'm in doubt, too. I remember that a mass "m" not balanced, out of center of a distance "r" from the axis, will produce a centrifugal force m•r•( angolar speed )^2 ( if i'm not wrong ... ) More the angular speed, much more the centrifugal, but - as in my formula - "m" and "r" are not depending from speed, so a static test and correction would be enaught ? I remember instead ( many many years ago ) - when i was servicing some equipments where the motor sometime become burnt - after rewinding they use to speed up the rotor ( just posed on free runnig pillows ) with a bare rubber wheel from a motor of the equipment, and with the use of a sincronized flashing light, they were able to understand where a mass was unbalanced, and so correcting this error scratching a bit of iron ... Somebody can explain the trick ?

It could be the weight, maybe it's not balanced or maybe you have connected to the wrong bar on the comentator or the bars are shorting

This was awesome! My grandfather did rewind some transformers. I never though it is possible to rewind a rotor.

Can i fix it the same way or it's different since it's DC?
what did you factor in when changing from 20 gauge to 21.5? Is it the resistivity? Why did you apply 10% more rounds in case of copper?
