yeah its a great set I'm a huge fan but a price like that for Four minifigs is insane! I might get it for Christmas though

I just don't see how the price is bad. It has at least $250 worth of pieces and a lot of them are BIG pieces, not just 1x1 studs inflating the parts count. The new molds and prints are likely only ever going to be used in this one set, so they can't split the cost between others, there's the license, and the added value of it being a two in one. I don't think the price is unreasonable for what you get. But it IS unreasonable that there aren't smaller, cheaper alternatives. It's the same thing with LoTR, they lock these characters behind HUGE builds that you have to go all in on, and are neglecting to lower that barrier to entry with impulse sets.
I just cannot agree. It is at least $50 overpriced if not $75+

Judging from what people say in the lego community, nearly everyone agrees this is overpriced. The average amount people think this is overpriced by varies a ton, but I've heard anywhere from 100 dollars to 250 dollars be an acceptable pricepoint for what is offered. People outside the loop that I've asked personally generally think 100-150 is an okay price and that is considering that they know Lego is an expensive product.
In my eyes 200 dollars is already an outrageous price to ask for this, but 300 completely misses the mark. It is sad for people that are really into Zelda or just want the cool minifigures, as the aftermarket prices on those will be insane with no alternative way to get them.
Having figures like this, or the Nazgul for the GWP Fell Beast behind a truly massive paywall is just ethically wrong. It makes Lego look like a draconian company and nothing like the gentle giant that is making really good (and affordable) kids toys. Seriously, this set .. if it was going to be made at all, should have been accompanied by at least 3 to 5 normal priced sets in the genre. This is just an extreme example of corporate greed, both by Lego and Nintendo alike.
I kinda wish that it had the Wind Waker version as well.

I gotta think about if I wanna get this. It looks great but 300 is way too much. Also sucks I’ll have to take one apart if I wanna do both builds

I really wish that the Links house side build was separate.
Gonna be honest I think the BOTW version just looks plain ugly. Then again I've never liked that design.
That side built with Link in it, should be a 15-25 dollar set released alongside this. I wouldn't buy that one either, but at least it is a way to get the minifigure and keep that price reasonable.
This set is very mid
Good build but overpriced (for this price tag you can buy switch itself ) and needed more figures like OOT young and adult Zelda,Bokoblins or Ganondorf
If there will be more zelda sets i hope they will be better
