Aemond is one of the most interesting characters for me in the show, specially once we see him as an adult. I hope he gets a very well written arc in Season 2

@@beckyweiss6072 I think, while I enjoyed his character from the book, he was like a Joffrey or a Ramsey with a giant flamethrower.
I prefer the fact that the show is going for something different. Because while he is fun in the book, that wears off quickly considering how much screen time he's gonna get.
And I really enjoyed show Viserys when compared to book Viserys, heck even GRRM agrees. So I'm looking forward to his tbh.

I can definitely see Aemond’s arc as “Dany’s fall done right.” Or at least that’s what I hope, a better done “fall arc.”
Because I can see Aemond also being someone in the show that just breaks slowly with each atrocity that passes (like Aegon I think. )

I love it when villainous characters are given these inspirational moments. Too often in media, villains are evil because that's what a villain should be instead of allowing them to be humans with things they care about and fight for. Aemond is set up to be the best villain in the GoT universe because of this development.

No we won’t, this is too much of a joyful theme. There’s a reason why they didn’t use this in the finale when Vhagar ate arrax.
@@Oakland510 Ramin can make it much darker. He's done it before, taking triumphant themes and making them darker. The beginning part of this track has already been reused numerous times over Aemond's scenes.

1:58 is Aemond's theme song and I'm literally obsessed. I can't wait to here more of this in the next season. He's such a huge character and so important, my favourite Targaryen!
Best theme of the season. Regardless of who Aemond is, this theme is pure joy and triumphant. Very uplifting like the OG Daenerys theme.

I was a book reader first, and I was very excited for this show. In the books the Greens weren’t very likeable, with Helaena being maybe the only exception. I was excited to see Aemond claim Vhagar and the confrontation with the other kids after, but I wasn’t prepared to like him as much as I did after this scene. In the books he’s kind of just ruthless I guess, since Fire and Blood is an in-universe history book and there’s a lot of “we-don’t-really-know-what-happened-here”. I knew Aemond had guts to claim the biggest living dragon at the time, but this really put that in perspective. Not only was the actor who played his younger self amazing, but Ewan Mitchell is just so charismatic as his older self. Aemond is definitely up there with my favorite characters now 👌✨
Hey he was my favorite green in the book, such a menace ... Couldn't wait to see him get taken down. 😂

Only bringing this up because people debate if Aemond had a right to Vhagar or if Laena’s kids should’ve gotten it
This track is so epic! First we hear some dance of dragons motif (from the title card at the beginning of the episode, and also during Vhagar and Arrax confrontation in ep.10). Then the dracarys sound effect, which leads into Aemond's theme. And finally, as he manages to ride Vhagar, the House Targaryen theme in a beautiful end emotional arrangement. Perfection!
I smiled in awe during this scene. Everything about it was absolutely brilliant. But especially the music... This is perhaps the greatest theme in all of GoT, apart from perhaps Light of the Seven and Night King. Amazing. Wow!
I just have to say that the writers deserve so much better in Hollywood.
Without them, this show wouldn't exist. Ryan Condal was a writer before he became a show runner.
Even though I don't agree with some creative decisions made in this adaptation, I think that writers should be treated better by Hollywood execs.
I hope you guys win, and please know that we are all with you. We care more about your lives than the show.

I love that he did this mix of fantastic compositions he's made. Also, hearing the main show's theme in the show is always a win for me.
