Sadly everyone of BB calls were absolute horse shit in all the games. 2 guys die and you ask for a fight? You are telling your team to start a baron fight nearly 10k down and not a steal? The other players were 100% correct. "A steal no?" Dude thinks "Going in" is the same as a great shotcall. Sometimes you just can't nor shouldn't respond to plays. He called for responses nearly every time and they got burnt every time.

caps should be the leader but u can clearly see he isn't even talking at times, bb and hans are the ones talking the most. Probably the worst part is how little micky talks, at some points he would hook/engage and not even comm to the team or confirm the play
Those comms sound like 5 players professionally reacting to the gameplay. On usefulness, it wasn't that much better than me and my friends yelling at each other but just more politely.

Which just shows how delusionally confident they were when they werent even the scrim champs but kept asking as if they could win worlds and anything less than semis was a failure.

@@lasterman94100 i think the issue is thar jankos were a huge part of shotcalling, understandably yike wont do it on his first worlds. So it feels weird that they still havent figured it out. I think caps should have stepped up more because he knows these enemy players and teams the best with being the oldest on the team.

Comms are very edited, but imo everything sounds so reactive. They never once discuss a game plan or plan how fights should be played before hand. They kind of just say should we fight then yes or no then yell champ names.
Proactivity is key you can't just expect to react and outplay on the international stage.
Yeah you would think that are strategizing while playing but that happens before you're in game. Imagine a football game. Players don't discuss elaborate strategies while playing. They do have ideas which they follow through with their positioning, timing etc but they're not actively discussing those. They happen automatically if the team is on the same page. Yes, communicating is one part of bringing everyone on the same page.
Imo, eastern teams have an edge when it comes to containing their reactivity and stabilizing their energies and mental.
They're not gonna leak their strategy just for voice comm video. I believe they are communicating like that but putting it into content piece for competition to see is self sabotage.

i mean their comms seem fine they just plainly lost... from some comms of eastern teams its way less talking from non shotcallers ..sometimes i think they overlap each others talk dunno if they are used to that but yeah i think its kinda more chaotic
yeah too much talking is bad imo, can get overlapped alot. I do agree after watching some eastern shot callers, the whole team talks way less that it legit feels they are a hive mind, which is why eastern teams are just too good over western teams
@@almightyraven8220i suspect since those teams alrdy have prepared and trained their strategies way before matches so they all know what the game plan is. I believe even the drafting is part of it so they all alrdy know what kind of plan they will use when seeing the champs cuz all those had been analysed by their coaches before and they alrdy come up with counter plans. Basically yes they kinda a hivemind but they get to that stage because of the amount of pre game prep they do. So ingame there isnt much need to talk other than from their shotcall reminding them of the plan they alrdy prepped and practised before

DRX was good last year they won against geng 1 - 3 and defeated EDG . DRX was much better than G2. Maybe T1 was indeed better but not by a huge margin.

They all can chime in, but when they're severely disadvantaged , Faker takes over (prolly because the kids go silent when losing). Watch their voice comms against KT, it's very obvious there.
Guma once said on stream that when they're losing, it feels like the world has abandoned them, but still it's okay because Faker is on their side.

Dont think g2 needs roster changes. They just need to work on recovering their mental after losses. It felt like in the old g2 perkz and Jankos would keep the teams spirits up even in dire situations, whereas this current g2 roster doesnt really have anybody who does that. If you watch this and the vlog, after that GenG series they were just so lifeless for the rest of the tournament. Maybe bring in more encouraging coaching staff (thought the speeches that their current coaches gave werent really inspiring).
