G2 winning MSI, a really competitive summer split with 2 5-game G2 vs. FNC series, both FNC and SPY making it out of groups with FNC finally beating RNG and SPY taking a game off FPX and then at least taking games off FPX and SKT in quarters, and of course G2 making finals (we can forget the 0-3 part).

Caps' play at baron did potentially save the game, but Perkz got G2 their lead and was doing a ridiculous amount of damage the entire game. He was also responsible for catching out several players and he won them the very last team fight as well. Just rewatch the game and you'll see. The whole team stepped up and preformed really well this game. I just think Perkz was the big difference maker. He and Micky 2 v 2 killed hyli several times as well. FNC just didn't seem comfortable playing vs the Syndra. They kept trying to kill him but it didn't work.

2019 was the best season imo. Great solo lane meta, great games and no elemental drakes which made the games more interesting to watch - G2 and FPX were the two best teams since they really innovated the meta

I know G2 get all the credit for winning and all but how crazy is it that with the best roster the west has ever produced FNC still managed to take them to 5 games. compare that to now where not only is the top team mediocre, they still win 3-0, 3-1. The LEC was built different back then
