Classic or vanilla I have never got to play due to the wreckage of Deathwing but am sure as all say this it was fun. Now I say the Classic/vanilla is a legend... One to be told over and over. Man I love this game haha!
God damn, I miss the old days when Gurubashi Arena were one of the main places of PvP. At the time I were only a kid running around getting ganked by the high levels, but you know what, it was fun. When I ran with my cat form into Burning Steppes, aiming for getting into Blackrock Mountain because Ragnaros was there.. All the World PvE/World PvP.. All the City Raiding.. All the Crossroads! God damn, good, good times, please Blizzard, give us all the oppertunity to play the old badass WoW again!
MangsandZerul just because tons of drones play a game. does not mean it is a good game. what wow had that many don't have is the social element. its an advance chatting system. this is why it worked for blizzard to make the insatnces so insane easy that you could do them sleeping. i mean i actually killed a dragon boss in BLWL sleeping and not only that i finish nr one as dmg dealer on my hunter. when i left wow i missed talking to my freinds ont doing the instances.
I think what most people really miss about the game was it was before LFG or LFR. It had a social aspect to it where you had to get on trade chat or something and physically look for a group to do instances. And it developed new friends over the game, that is another aspect I believe people miss.
And don't forget, they made this Leveling in Cataclysm so fast, because they'll come the next add-on, and the "endboss" of this game is Deathwing, too. Sooo, hail to the Pandaren! :D
I played a little wow but my friend is a fan and as i can see cataclysm is wow for little kids just like you said. Vanilla is hard but fun and full of adventures

Also remember when you couldnt get a mount untill 40? I i mean jesus the trips up and down stranglethorn took forever on foot.....
I agree with you, I would love for the game to look as good as this video. I also have a Night Elf Druid who is my fav character to play, most verstile combo in the game, IMNSHO.

If i had to pick something i wanted back from vanilla it would be an alterac valley type pvp map. not like the relay race pvp we have now but back to the days that the battlefield felt like a fucking battlefield. there were quest and organization(to a point) as well as a feeling of real accomplishment when you got air support and reinforcements. and when you won it really felt like you won a battle agianst the horde/alliance cuz u did. the stuff now is ok just want some oldyz stuff back.
I love the cinematics, but i got one complaint for pretty much all of them. The problem is that there are no TROLLS! ok so there is one, during the BC cinematics for 2 seconds if that riding a raptor but thats it.

@olmstedtr they didn't know that but I can understand your point diablo 3 has many fans and they're solely the people who are going to buy it + friends of friends for the coop whereas wow was a risk so they made a big trailer and had to keep the bar as the game progressed.Infact they did proper ingame movies very late into the expansions
Only way I can describe what has happened to WoW is to compare it to what happened to Supernatural. Great from seasons 1-5, the story arc that caught everyones attention and then they continued with the franchise to the bleakest moment where masses of people tuned out to something better. Some still like it for entertainment purposes, but it's never the same. We defeated Arthas, we watched Lucifer fall from his throne, but now it can never live up to the suspense that was created all those years

and another thing this one cinametic is 1 of the most epic made in entire wow ( my openion ) Taurens rock whit their totem weapons tree or what ever it is xD unique in game they should make it legendary and make it best of game like name it ''Word Crusher of the Chieftan''

i'm still unsure if i should play this game. i don't know if it will be a complete waste of my time or if i would want to play more. i know the community will give me their input and other people who have played or heard about the game and the community will tell me what they have to say as well. they can tell me from their personal experience but i would rather see for my self... for anyone who is reading this
Um yeah, there's no gnome either, idk if troll and gnome was added in patches (i started with TBC not the original WoW, and I nearly missed the troll riding raptor in that TBC trailer :P ), or they didnt include them in the cinematic.
@MickeRamone vanilla wow was awesome, but everyone will admit burning crusade was just as good, there's no reason to hate burning crusade, but there are reasons to hate wrath.
