My opinion on Steve each season: S1- idek- he was hot. I was so on and off abt weather I loved it hated him. But at the end he was decent. S2- At first I thought he was great. Amazing guy. Then he met dustin IN LOVE BEST CHARACTER AMAZING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
My take on Steve and Robin in season 3 is that they had trauma bonded through their crazy mall adventure with the Russians and the underground base. After going through all of that, he was not going to ditch her because he found out she was a lesbian. Also, he was still a little drugged/out of it when she told him, so he was processing the information in altered state, which may have had something to do with his reaction.

I don't think that's right because Steve was over 16 in the first season, and none of the younger characters are old enough to drive yet. Also, Dustin and his friends will always be babies to Steve. Steve will look out for them and protect them because they are his honorary children until Steve dies (hopefully peacefully in old age).
