How do you think Nintendo will support the Switch 1 after the Switch 2 comes out? Are there other remasters or ways you believe Nintendo will keep supporting the Switch going forward?
Xeno X is a MASSIVE release for me. Have wanted a sequel/remaster/definitive edition for so long now as it ended on a BIG cliffhanger way back in 2015. I do think its almost a pity they didnt save the remaster for switch 2 as it would no doubt run at 60fps but I will happily settle for switch especially given all xeno games will now be available for switch. I wonder will there be any performance improvements on switch 2 via backward compatability? Regardless its confirmed to have new content and even shows the cliffhanger in the trailer so we know the story will continue. Cant wait!
@@Shadowofthegame-2 that is the worst answer you can give. Like I get it Star Fox 64 is the one that is universally agreed upon to be good. But it's already been remade multiple time in a row now, the Star Fox series is more then just one game, and would in general way more sense to remake another title if not a new one. Getting 64 again would REALLY be a bad look and straight up repetitive.
I am hoping we will get wind waker HD and twilight princess HD on the switch this year or early next year. However I've heard there is a possibility that twilight princess will be upgraded to 4k I've watched a trailer I don't its real or not but it looks amazing it brought twilight princess to another level and I can easily see Ocarina of time in the same animation as the 4k of twilight princess. Anyway I'm looking forward seeing news for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD to come out on the switch this year or early next year. All I ask from Nintendo is a release date for these games.
I want to see those games on the Switch too! We've waited a long time to still not be able to play Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on the Switch! Hopefully we'll see it soon!
At this point I'd even welcome a HD port of Metroid Samus Returns for the Switch with Fusion mode and all the other Amiibo blocked content unlockable without the need for Amiibos.
As huge Zelda fan, it's hard to not feel exploited when I really only have myself to blame for rebuying every re-release and these alleged re-re-releases every single time they come out. Having 3 different copies of Breath of the Wild for 3 different consoles is some wild Skyrim territory.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It sucks to rebuy the same game multiple times. But sometimes a remake with better graphics and added content are worth it on a classic title made better.
Will TimeSplitters be counted as one of those 3rd party remasters? Because March 2025 marks 20 YEARS since the last entry, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect debuted on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube… It’d be a wasted opportunity to miss this trilogy! But with Embracer being 3 separate entities… what more can I say? The damage they did was already done. Studio closures, canceled games, mismanagements, corporate greed, etc… The biggest norm in the AAA industry… :( Not to mention the recently failed lawsuit for game preservation that brought up the case that 87% of titles currently out of print… And Nintendo is just one of many that has a lot to explain about that… EA, Activision, Ubisoft, so many underrated titles from past generations are lost, and I can write down an entire list of them… Whether they’re lost in the past or EXCLUSIVELY on PC that requires some heinous sign-in subscription and digital rights management services… And most customers can’t afford all of that at once… :( So if we’re talking about remasters, then we have got to get game preservation out of crisis mode right now. The catches? Only too few devs are trustworthy to get bring the games back… THAT and… well… political activists… are taking over the big shots… Any game you liked before, they butcher them by “changing” the source material… Not only that. Politics also kills game preservation, and this aforementioned lawsuit says it all.
I agree. We need to get game preservation out of crisis mode! There are too many good games of the past that we can't loose. And yeah, good catch, TimeSplitters would be a good 3rd party remaster to be considered since it's 20 year anniversary is nearing.
Or rather 25 years considering TS1 was a PS2 launch title. The series only ran from 2000 - 2005 with “TimeSplitters 4” rumored for so long, it faded into obscurity due to Free Radical Design being owned by one company to another… until it dissolved… TWICE! And it’s not just TimeSplitters that needs life support, but EA’s Medal of Honor, Activision’s CLASSIC Call of Duty (i.e. from 1 - 3; all before COD4), Ubisoft’s Far Cry 1 & 2 (I know 3 exists, but the first two matters just as much), Id’s Wolfenstein 3D, Gray Matter’s Return to Castle Wolfenstien, Valve’s Half-Life, Team Fortress 2 (albeit the latter is currently rendered unplayable due to the “bot” invasion…), CounterStrike, SOE’s… er.. no… Daybreak’s… wait… why are there so many name changes? Oh, well… that company’s PlanetSide 2, you see it’s always the FPS games that get shunned for not having any preservation. Some of which I grew up playing, others I want to have because I never got them when they launched. Now there may be chance that Donkey Kong 64 might get released for NSO… but… let’s just say that the last time on Wii U VC, that game’s emulation had trouble with the audio… and it made me crawl back to the N64 version. The Metal Gear Solid Vol. 2 collection hasn’t been announced yet, but people are asking for The Twin Snakes and MGS4: Guns of the Patroits because neither of these two saw releases beyond their native platforms. And I just hope that the GameCube Zeldas or rather their remastered forms are brought to the forefront because having Breath of the Wild Definitive Edition before them and THIS soon… Why give that game the same glory twice right now? BOTW and TOTK definitive bundles CAN WAIT…
@@AlkuntarGaming See, the problem is the inconsistency! Every time you stop talking to take a breath, the audio skyrockets back to normal, and immediately goes back down as soon as you go back to talking. That's REALLY distracting and obnoxious! Just make the entire background audio low for the entire duration of your speech and make it fade in and out SLOWLY for the portions you're not speaking for longer than 3 seconds.
Bro literally said: Bro, the Switch 2 leaks are awesome, but check these games out for the original switch! Nice editing by the way! Really enjoyed watching the video!
Will do! Thanks for bringing it to my attention! Is it the volume spikes when I'm not talking that's too loud? If so, that will be fixed on my next video. Or, is there something else you noticed too?

We didn't have a Direct in September which Nintendo almost always has done in the past, but we instead had the Museum Direct and a back-to-back Indi and Partner Direct all in August like PH Brazil said.

Star Fox Assault remake please
Yeah, I'd like that one too!
Star Fox 64 first

I really want Metroid Prime 2, but only if it's treated like Prime 1 Remastered, and essentially a remake-level of improvement.
I agree. A good remastering of it needs to happen.
Same for corruption
