I can't wait for the continued testing. That gadget is really cool. I have never seen one exactly like that but I have seen auto-hooking setups for "Ice fishing" here in the North. I would say your gadget did well enough on its maiden test to warrant bringing it back out later for more!!! Cool video!!!
After some thought, it did work better than I thought and it was kind of fun to use. It will make its way back into a few vids for sure. Thanks for waching and I'm on my way over to watch yours, LOL.
Awesome. They look like a lot of fun I reckon they would work well on cod because they bite so hard. Great fishing for winter. I fished there once, I'm hoping to go back this spring. Well done.
Good video, you just gotta work on your video editing, we missed lots of of the takes of the pole because you either cut the video out or the camera wasn’t on it
@@LarrysFishing have only taken it on two outings, but have landed carp both times (and missed some) but as you said you can do that with the rod in hand.

Thanks Robbie. If you do head this way, drop me a line, would love to meet you and I'll take you to the shop for lunch. Cheers!
Nice to see you testing it out. Looked like it might pull the hook right out, so glad you hooked one. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!
I live in Idaho in the states but I have fished the Murray, River near Mildura.
One of my first vids is from up there, nice area to visit. Cheers!
Good setup of the fishing stuff
Thanks!
@@LarrysFishing no worries
Great video!
Thanks, glad you liked it.
I was hoping to see the fish get flung over your head into the trees.:)
Just saw this comment, that would be too funny, but might be a neat idea HMMMMMMMM
Are these legal to use in California?
Yes!

This was an older vid from when I first got started, hopefully they're a bit better now. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
Yep snaps so hard, but I have caught a couple of carp with one of these.
Do you use them often? I tried a 2nd day, but didn't even get a nibble. Would really like to see them in action on a good day, see how they perform.

Not bad. Isn't it?
Not bad at all, will try again for sure.
Yeah give it a go again the fish may not of had the hook the second time.:)
I'm thinking its going out again this weekend, heck with waiting until Spring, LOL Thanks for checking out the video. Hope all is well in Tassie
