I've been searching for video regarding painting of metal colours and yours really spot on. Can I ask whether you can apply a clear coat (flat and gloss) over this Xtreme colours?

Another great video Bobby. These are great products but when I’ve sprayed TS-13 as a clear gloss coat on top of Polished Aluminum, it turns it a blackish hue. And it has ONLY occurred with the Polished Aluminum. It can be used for a good weathering affect if that’s your intent. But exercise caution. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve had this exact problem, my solution is to simply not gloss over the polished aluminium, I apply my decals straight onto the polished aluminium. Just make sure the surface is dried for minimum 48hrs. I also recommend having a gloss black base, I use GX2 from mr hobby and lightly mist 2/3 layers of polished aluminium onto this at about 15 psi no issues at all. Also same steps apply for Xtreme Metal chrome. If looking for something can gloss onto try Super Silver Chrome 2 by Mr hobby, they have a great finish. Hope this helps.

Can you thin them with lacquer thinner to get hot coat or faster dry time? I do thin enamel with lacquer thinner to get hot smooth flow with great results. It does take practice.

Hello, I am looking for a gloss black primer and a sealing varnish compatible with those metallic AK paints? Can you tell me what to choose? Thanks!

I've just discovered this paint. Can you tell me which primer is best for it. Will acrylic primer work/will humbrol enamel primer work?
For shaking the paint, I have found a lab equipment vortex agitator (FOUR'Es) that works wonders.
I don't know how it will work for the AK, but I use a carburettor cleaner from an aerosol can from Wynns for Allclad2 paints. It's a bit cheaper and works fine.

    i gotta say:
    - 2 weeks after painting i applied masking tape and it took a chunks of paint of the model
    - after varnishing once, the paint still got destroyed by tamiya panel liner
despite those its realy looking great after painting, but i'll have to heavily varnish it before doing litrally anything

You can't use Tamiya panel liner on enamel paint, it tells you on the bottle.
