This is refreshingly un-refreshing content about racing, if that makes any sense. For those of us normal folk with full time jobs who also love to ride and race, this is a great realistic look at how difficult it can be. Love to hear the self-pride talk, you deserve it! Can't wait to see what the rest of the 2024 year brings for you and Joe!
Thanks so much. I am glad it’s landing. I just want to show and encourage people that you can do a lot with a little! Sometimes it’s mentally hard and hurts in my soul because proximity of who I race and hang with. But hot damn is normies need to be proud! We are doing the damn thing.
I absolutely loved this series. Thank you for showing the raw emotions that come out when us non-pros try our hardest for a good time. It’s very refreshing and appreciated. Can’t wait to see your future adventures! Good luck and keep shredding 🤙
Enjoyed watching your cameos with Syd and Mackey. I road bike with a club who has a racing team. Your story is so familiar to the racers I ride with. Work, training and race schedules are very challenging. Good luck and I'm here for the story.
You did great Lo. That course looks like a body beater for sure. My back hurts just watching that shit. 😂 Then having to keep a work schedule like that is hellish as all get out. You are truly a living example of a superhuman. Much respect!! 👊💪👍
I’ve been watching you for more than a year on Syd’s channel and got inspired to spend too much money on an e-mtn bike, but have since become obsessed with adventure (motorcycle) riding BDR and wanting to trade my big Harley for a small trail bike. I’ll prob have to just spend more time on the e-bike. Comment on your meetings, consider adding sound treatment to your walls so your voice doesn’t echo on calls - it makes a huge difference.
You definitely raise watching a mountain bike race up a few notches. I am cracking up and enjoying your singing and wise cracks as you pass through the course. You bring a little more fun into the suffering. Also, it's fun to watch you catch and pass other riders up on the downhill tech. Keep it up. Go Lo!
I haven’t been on a bike in years. Don’t know why this popped up in my feed but this is one of the best videos I have seen in a LONG time. Can’t wait to watch older videos and see what comes next for you. May be dangerous though- after just one video I’m thinking maybe I need to go bike shopping this weekend.
Just watched all 4 vids and subscribed. Love the commentary as it sounds like me, all of it. One word of advice about negative talk, if you can’t or don’t want to say positive things then be neutral but no negative talk.
Hi...Lo, 😂 I watched you because I regularly watch Syd and Mackey. I think you might have found a unique niche by combining comedy with your mtb channel. You had me cracking up! Very fun to watch.
Everyone thinks frequent business travel is glamorous! They are wrong, but I try to make the best of it. I have a "pro tip": I have a clean travel only pair of comfortable mtb SPD shoes in my travel bag...and I book hotels with a peloton bike. The bikes have guest access (so you don't need to pay) a 30 to 45 minute peloton class is a great way to keep the legs fresh for the weekend.
I feel you pain sister. Traveling and maintaining any consistent training is a bi**h. Keep up the push. Looking forward to you next adventure. Like seeing the every day rider dealing with the stresses of life.
Well just take note Lo of where on your body you take a consequence for taking on a tree because that will be a fond memory when your arthritus starts acting up. LOL You did great even with your workload you even kept your superwomen cape clean. LOL ;) :)
Your (albeit mild) lack of enthusiasm is inspiring! Having become a fan of yours via S and M videos (Dang. That pun really kinda work there given the suffering nature of the content), I think that's how I'm supposed to feel? I think?....Right?
I was pretty much a buttered up biscuit. 🤣🤣🤣 the terrain and back to back days I haven’t been able to find a good solution. I think it comes with the territory
for real. the Pro's have no idea how easy they have it with no real jobs: you'd be P1 too Lo if this is all you did. I expect the Pro's to ALWAYS podium. (shakes fist) ALWAYS. while you are sitting in bulk head with nothing but a latte and a scone as your "recovery" meal, the Pro's have their princess pants on and a very healthy oatmeal bowl or something.
Wow, what a meat grinder. I would say you're doing a lot better than you think and you shouldn't beat yourself up, the trail will do that for you. Keep peddling and you'll be there b4 you know it.

@@LoSendquest I wondered the same. Thanks for your answer... Well to make this doo-hickey work, you have to plug in the flotchy, and then point the pointer, and then... well, you lazy reps, read the directions!" sort of like that? Now! Where's the next tree to body check. I'm cheering for you!
So happy to hear some real mountain biker language when “body checking” trees. No one is really “Mackey Franklin” nice.

New Zealand Here, You are doing amazingly well, very inspirational, really enjoy your vids, also Syd and Macky, thats how I found you.
Thanks so much!!!
Refreshing and real. And I love that you ride everything. Got a bike? might as well ride it!
You now rank in my top 3 cycling RUclips channels. I'm in awe at how you juggle such a busy life.
Thank you. It’s so tough!
Started thinking about entering my first mtb event in 6 years after watching this series, real world inspiration 👍
Dooooo it!
Always impressed with your tech skills! Keep up the good work and keep sharing the fun!
I absolutely loved this series. Thank you for showing the raw emotions that come out when us non-pros try our hardest for a good time. It’s very refreshing and appreciated. Can’t wait to see your future adventures! Good luck and keep shredding 🤙
Thank you for your support and encouragement ❤️

Just watched all 4 videos. How awesome. You did amazing. Btw...Christine from Frugal Fit Mom sent me over.
Thanks so much! Working on my next few videos and will release soon ❤️❤️❤️
That's a lot of stress and fatigue.
Take care of yourself, you are primary to yourself!! Stay strong!
Your brilliant. Full stop. Thanks.
"I'm pedaling and going nowhere" - is SOOOO relatable.
I love your no nonsens attitude so much. Keep rocking on!
I love your running comentary!! You are crushing it!
Thank you so much!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Just remodeled the whole room and waiting for rugs and such. 🫠

I approve this purchase!!! New bike day is the BEST day ❤️❤️
@informalGreeting Get the new bike! At 62 I treated myself to a new 29er Fezzari / Ari and have only looked back going over the bars.
Lo, you're a trip.!🤣🤣🤙🤙🤙⭐
You and I have similar riding styles…except I am slow and have no discernible technical skills. Loving your channel!!
So glad you started your channel. Look forward to the future vids.
Thank you!!! Appreciate you.
Clipping trees with my the end of my handlebar/ pinky is my preferred screw up too.
Just watched all 4 vids and subscribed. Love the commentary as it sounds like me, all of it. One word of advice about negative talk, if you can’t or don’t want to say positive things then be neutral but no negative talk.
I hear ya. Sometimes it happens. Our brains our weird 😝
Also thanks for the sub! Appreciate you
You go girl
Love the commentary during the race. Your are awesome for working a full time "real" job and racing. Keep it up.
Lo your self motivation talk is one of the best!! How do you keep your wrists from hurting? Keep up the good work! Enjoy your videos!!
I just try to make sure my bike setup is dialed with brake position which allows for good hand wrist position.
Yay for Lo! Going to go look for that pop of color...
So key. I pack the same 5 black travel outfits. So gotta put some glitter somewhere! ❤️
Bush! So happy to hear you’re proud, you should be. I love you!
You’re the best.
Lo doesn’t disappoint. She does surprise however!
Love your videos, Lo. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Great stuff Lo! Keep making them...
Thank you
Great video Lo, !

Thanks so much!!!!
NICE JOB AMIGO! You rode really well and that is not an easy event!
Thank you!
That carpet in the Miami airport is the only thing i remember about it. I was there a minimum of 20 years ago.
It’s so icky. (And sticky) my roller bag doesn’t exactly roll….
If carpets could talk.
Awesome work Lo
Music is a must …… mentally good 📱🎵🎵🎵
@12:40 Dying at the quick Macky/Pro tip clip then shooting it down immediately ☠
You did it! Way to go! That trail looked punishing AF
Bit of a whack a mole to my body!
B-R-U-T-A-L
Trees are carnivorous too.
They reach out and bite you when you least expect it
FACTS!!
@8:27 -channelling Ronan Dunne!
Post ride/race back to work life.... relatable af.....

I have done that! Sadly the hotel in Miami doesn’t have one. So I do Orange theory or group classes.
Way to go, you rock!
Thank you. ❤️❤️

Thanks!!!
Lo, you have handling skillz 🥳
Thank you
I think you are not slow, but good and steady. You passed many riders who started fast. Keep it up. You’ll get stronger and faster. Take it easy.
Thanks for the encouragement!!
Music is important.
I need this "Lo On-Trail Commentary".
Also, I'm incredibly curious what Lo's line of work is.
I'm in love 💔 . you're just so tough💪
We're all proud of you to, Lo!
Keep up the good work! Training and traveling SUCKS!!! Keep at it!
Thank you!!!
Well just take note Lo of where on your body you take a consequence for taking on a tree because that will be a fond memory when your arthritus starts acting up. LOL You did great even with your workload you even kept your superwomen cape clean. LOL ;) :)

It's a clinically proven fact that bad tunes add at LEAST 1 minute to your time.
Your (albeit mild) lack of enthusiasm is inspiring! Having become a fan of yours via S and M videos (Dang. That pun really kinda work there given the suffering nature of the content), I think that's how I'm supposed to feel? I think?....Right?
Facts.
Love the diarrhea excuse tip! Now it's just a question of how often I can use it before they get suspicious.
Just say you have IBS or some weird allergy 🤓 ergo the limit doesn’t exist.
I feel ur airport pain, #Tip you have more rights checking into jail.
I use chamois butter for long rides...I dont ride as long as you...but it helps.
I was pretty much a buttered up biscuit. 🤣🤣🤣 the terrain and back to back days I haven’t been able to find a good solution. I think it comes with the territory

I need them to make some packable princess pants!!!!
Who knew so many tree’s were retired hockey players
Wow, what a meat grinder. I would say you're doing a lot better than you think and you shouldn't beat yourself up, the trail will do that for you. Keep peddling and you'll be there b4 you know it.
Thank you. Sometimes I am my own worst critic ❤️
What type of work do you do if you don't mind answering?
Medical device industry. I work on the corporate side of our business and do the development, implementation and facilitation of education to the sales reps. After many many years of being a sales product national specialist.
@@LoSendquest very cool. Thanks for answering!
@ExpertTrigger of course!
