There are pressure sensors in the hand that can detect pressure. We could have pain sensation, but have not currently added that. The advantages of doing so would be that pain is our natural body's way of protecting itself, so it would also protect the bionic hand similarly. It also would likely rewire the brain into thinking the hand is a part of your body. As we get further into nerve implants for control and sensation, we will explore those functions more.

You really shouldn't charge your arm up right next to you, it might not be a cell phone with harmful rf radiation, but it still has its dirty electricity from the charger.

The hand is compatible with prosthetic elbows such as the Steeper Espire, Motion Control Motion Arm, and Ottobock Dynamic Arm
