    Imagine a boxer having one of these. I don't think it could crush walls but it seems far stronger than a normal hand.

    I am currently have the Covvi hand and it does not compare to this one it was super expensive and it is literally a piece of crap it breaks with any kind of hard work it is currently under repair but this hand looks like something made specifically for my needs iam so happy that i got in contact with you cant wait to get the loaner hand and be able to check it out for myself! Look foward to working with you and if you need someone to target the hispanic community i am your guy i would love to work with you since i have no money to invest but cant wait to check it out for myself!

    Looks like an amazing biotechnology advancement that has come along way from what is currently available for people with disabilities.
    I would like to see what you’re able to do in the future besides the arm since there are others who disabilities with lower limbs issues. Is this something you have in the works? I know you stated MCR covers in the U.S. but what is coverage in other countries.

      We've got an Ability Leg in the works ;) . As for other countries, we plan to expand globally for patients later next year.

    My nephew was born with no blood flow to his hand and has had multiple "reconstructive" surgery from the elbow down through his childhood, pointless muscle grafts from his hips, legs and back, he has been refused prothstetic because he never grew the nerves and muscles to tell a prothstetic hand what to do and he has had his bones fused, infections, always in hospital, he is 16 years old now and contemplating his future , option of amputation from the elbow was spoken about, but I really think this would a miracle for him in the UK. How it is programmed and attached might be the key

      Good point. We were testing for the similar impacts as punching, which was the theme of the video. Maybe we'll do another test in the future.

  • @JunniferLuzeytonz
    @JunniferLuzeytonz 19 дней назад

    Now im still confused about prosthetic hand punching
    Cuz wouldn't it hurt the user's hand, forearm, or shoulder
    since i don't think a support would stop the prosthetic from hurting the hand, forearm, or shoulder

    • @aadeelakhtar
      @aadeelakhtar 19 дней назад

      Like a natural arm, it would only hurt if he didn't break through it. The main point here was that the bionic hand didn't break on impact with the boards/ice when traditionally it would.

      The Ability Hand is currently only available in the US. There are a lot of factors that go into being able to sell & support these in other countries such as government clearance and available medical support systems. We are currently working on expanding access abroad in the coming years. Stay tuned to find out when international access becomes available.
