My mom went shopping over in the states the other day, and I asked her to get me some ice cream. We can get Ben and Jerry's here, too, but, unfortunately, we don't have as much variety. I was looking to try their seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake flavor, but they didn't have it, so my mom picked up a pint of the Topped Dirt Cake instead, because she saw that it was new.To be honest, I was a bit disappointed, because I was really looking forward to trying the Pumpkin Cheesecake one. Well, that feeling didn't last long. I loved it! It was like a new and improved version of cookies and cream ice cream. It was so much richer and creamier. It was absolutely decadent! I had to force myself to stop eating it! It was just SO good. I would definitely buy it again! I think it's my new favorite ice cream flavor. I would give it a 10 out of 10! 😋

These both sound terrific - the coconut one seems like it would remind me of my favorite Girl Scout cookie and “a cup of dirt” was always my dessert of choice at TGIF as kid haha. I’ll definitely try either if I see them. Thanks for the fun review!

I had the Dirt Cake ice cream and it is amazing!
One of my favorite Ben and Jerry's Topped flavors is the Strawberry Topped Tart. My 2nd fav is the Topped Tiramisu. The Dirt Cake sounds delicious since I love Cookies and Cream. The other I would leave alone after your review. I like coconut, but prefer coconut flakes over an actual flavoring. Thanks for the review.

They should have put mini gummy worms in the ganache instead of more cookie crumbs in the Dirt Cake one. I’ve tried the Chewy Gooey Cookie, it was amazing! I’ll probably try Dirt Cake next.

My depression has been really bad so I've been slacking on videos but i saw this and had to watch. I'm a huge ben & jerrys fan so i will take your word for it and skip the one with coconut and next time I'm at the store I'm gonna look for the dirt cake one it sounds phenomenal. I just bought ben and jerrys ice cream friday i bought my favs wich are karmal sutra core the tonight dough the americone dream strawberry shortcake and and salted carmel core. Thank you for the video great review as always. Oh and to kevin i watched your Culvers video about the cod sandwich get the northern walleye it's the best fish sandwich they have imo and alot of people have been reviewing it and say it's the best one. But I'm a huge culvers fan i love their concrete mixers their cheese curds and their butter burgers are delicious. Hope you all have a great day.

Excellent review as always! Love their ice cream and will purchase for special occasions. Everyone has a favorite. And I wish it would be easier to find pistachio or coffee ice cream. Used to be a standard flavor at ice cream shops and when Starbucks discontinued their line, I was devastated. Now the holy grail of two ice cream flavors! When I find them in out of area markets, I purchase a bunch of it and haul it home. I don't go anywhere with a full size cooler in my car so I can safely bring perishables home. Large curd cottage cheese is hard to find in my area too. It's surprising to see what is standard in other grocery stores and supermarkets across the US.

If you havent tried it, Haagen Daz has a pretty good plain coffee flavor.
@@skylarksunrise Thank You! Apparently any "coffee" style / flavor ice cream is not a big seller in my area. It's extremely rare to see and and if I do, I purchase several. When I travel out of area I seem to find it almost everywhere and more choice on brands. Will add your suggestion to my grocery list! Thanks again.
Honestly I hadn’t really paid attention to the topped varieties...not sure why. But yesterday I saw the topped PB Over The Top.. and I couldn’t resist. It’s delicious. Personally I’m glad the ganache is only on the top and not throughout the container. Once I broke through it I pushed some pieces to the side so that I could have another few bites with it. That was perfect!
Can’t wait to try the dirt cake and mint.
I try to save some of the top for the end too.

With the flavors included in the Gooey Cookie ice cream, I’m getting strong Girl Scout Cookie vibes! They have all of the flavors of the Samoas (aka Caramel deLites). I wonder if that is just a coincidence?!

I can’t find any of these (or the little Debbie flavors) anywhere where I live in Houston
We had the Little Debbie flavors in ONE time and never saw them again.

Joy 1977- I am Canadian, and we only have a handful of flavors to choose from here. Whenever we go shopping over in the states we always make it a point to stock up on ice cream. They have so much to choose from it is overwhelming! And I LOVE it!

Only thing missing with the Dirt Cake was gummy worms. I'm sure you're aware of the new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Creamy Spread coming out. I can't wait to see your review as I don't have any Kroger stores in PA.

That topping looks so rich and good lol. I'd prefer it maybe swirled through the ice cream so you don't risk yourself eating the whole topping at once!

The topped version seems gimmicky even though I really enjoy cookies and cream cream.

I love coconut… but have yet to find a coconut ice cream I like!!! I like coconut in ice cream… thank you… I’ll pass on this one as well… it sounds like samoas cookies…

Unfortunately we found buying these with all the cores and the hard tops etc just isn’t worth it if you want to share and scoop bowls for a family. Never can be “fair” when you serve
That's an excellent point. I agree, these are really for one person.
Invest in a commercial ice cream scoop from a restaurant supply store. And practice a little. I worked in the hospitality industry many years ago and as a teenager worked for Baskin Robbins. You will get the hang of it real quick.

Oh, man, Ben and Jerry's still haven't fixed their coconut problem? It's so overwhelming to have all those flakes in there. It ruins the ice cream. Talenti does a perfect job at their coconut ice cream (gelato). It's smooth and creamy. Hopefully with both of you complaining about it now (I thought I was the only one) maybe somebody will let them know and fix their coconut ice cream.
I agree, Talenti coconut is much better.
