Go to Japan. I was in Tokyo and they don’t have pre-spend. If they have the bag, you can buy it. Of course there is no guarantee that they have the bag you want. It’s just a matter of luck if you come in the right day. My store requires 1:1 pre-spend and jewelry counts 100%. I bought a Kelly bracelet (waited almost 2 years!), a scarf, Kelly belt, oasis sandals, mules, and the cosmetic bag. I met my quota with this and was finally offered a Kelly 25, gold Togo!

This year, I have spent slightly more than 1.3 to 1 ( but that includes a Picton purchase). Been waiting for a QB, and it is beginning to dawn on me that I am likely going to need to spend a bit more to be offered one. I have a wonderful S.A., so that definitely helps. But, this can really be a tedious and exhausting process.

I pretty much did the same thing at the Waikiki boutique. We go to Hawaii every year and have gone to same S.A. Last time I straight out asked her. If I buy a watch, can I get a quota bag? She said she wouldn't be able to get me the kelly, but she could get me a Constance. And so I came back home with a Constance 18.
We've been going every October for the past 5-6 years. All the islands, not just Oahu. First time I went, she sold me a Picotin without having to buy anything else. I just asked if they had and she had me come back the next day. Seems like Waikiki is more open to visitors. But quota bag was different. She thought all my spend was with her. She didn't know I had a home boutique. She said the Kelly I had to get from my home boutique. But she was able to get me the Constance which is technically also a quota bag.
@bflorida8469 She actually asked me what else I would want other than the Kelly. I told her the mini lindy or constance 18. I was eventually able to get the kelly 25. Actually this year before I went back to Hawaii again.
I would NEVER play those games! NEVER! I live in USA. I purchased a few Clic clac enamel bracelets and a pair of Sandals (on sale for 500. ). I mentioned to the SA that I would like a particular Birkin 35 in the near future. The beautiful Gold Color . It was simply a passing remark. I will admit i was carrying a Beautiful Black Birkin. I finished my purchase and left. In less than 4 weeks, the very same SA contacted me and had the beautiful Birkin i mentioned ready for purchase! There was ZERO SPENDING RATIO! Later i asked for a black Evelyne when they initially were produced - it took 2 weeks and the SA contacted me to let me know my Evelyne was ready for purchase......... I would most definitely go to the pre-loved market vs playing those games!
@SasaZoe Yes I had a great experience at the Hermes Boutique. I had never heard of the "spending ratio" because it's non-existent in certain areas..... it all depends on your personality with your SA. I have no need for only Hermes because I prefer under-stated bags as well....... I have sold several Birkin bags and several Kelly bags. I currently am happy with my collection. I would definitely go to pre-loved as they generally have a very large selection. I really use my bags, some on a daily basis so they are not going to stay Pristine forever. I don't pamper them. I have yet to take one in for a "Spa" treatment and that includes one that is probably 12 years old! Though I am taking that one in soon , especially for the conditioning of the leather..........

I pretty much did the same thing at the Waikiki boutique. We go to Hawaii every year and have gone to same S.A. Last time I straight out asked her. If I buy a watch, can I get a quota bag? She said she wouldn't be able to get me the kelly, but she could get me a Constance. And so I came back home with a Constance 18.

We've been going every October for the past 5-6 years. All the islands, not just Oahu. First time I went, she sold me a Picotin without having to buy anything else. I just asked if they had and she had me come back the next day. Seems like Waikiki is more open to visitors. But quota bag was different. She thought all my spend was with her. She didn't know I had a home boutique. She said the Kelly I had to get from my home boutique. But she was able to get me the Constance which is technically also a quota bag.
Why settle for something less?
@bflorida8469 She actually asked me what else I would want other than the Kelly. I told her the mini lindy or constance 18. I was eventually able to get the kelly 25. Actually this year before I went back to Hawaii again.

I mentioned to the SA that I would like a particular Birkin 35 in the near future. The beautiful Gold Color . It was simply a passing remark. I will admit i was carrying a
Beautiful Black Birkin.
I finished my purchase and left. In less than 4 weeks, the very same SA contacted me and had the beautiful Birkin i mentioned ready for purchase!
There was ZERO SPENDING RATIO!
Later i asked for a black Evelyne when they initially were produced - it took 2 weeks and the SA contacted me to let me know my Evelyne was ready for purchase.........
I would most definitely go to the pre-loved market vs playing those games!

Yes I had a great experience at the Hermes Boutique.
I had never heard of the "spending ratio" because it's non-existent in certain areas..... it all depends on your personality with your SA.
I have no need for only Hermes because I prefer under-stated bags as well....... I have sold several Birkin bags and several Kelly bags.
I currently am happy with my collection. I would definitely go to pre-loved as they generally have a very large selection. I really use my bags, some on a daily basis so they are not going to stay Pristine forever. I don't pamper them. I have yet to take one in for a "Spa" treatment and that includes one that is probably 12 years old! Though I am taking that one in soon , especially for the conditioning of the leather..........

i really appreciate your honesty and openness Sasa 🫶🏼 agree that the velvet b25 is not a bag you would love in the long term - good on you that you resisted! also the prespend is quite high. i know the competition is very stiff now for b25 but i hope you get your dream bag soon. i’m also waiting very impatiently for my next QB which is a k25. even though it is my 6th QB from the store i still feel anxious waiting for the bag. i think i will “graduate” from this journey soon, take a break and live a life without planning for pre spend haha, its mentally draining. i don’t mind buying from secondary market after this. cheering you on Sasa!!

I am done with Hermes games & choose shopping via reseller instead. At least, I know exactly what I am going to get & how much I’m going to spend. At some point, there are out of interesting things to buy from the store anyways. Not going to force myself to buy RTW or jewelry which we all know aren’t worth it.
