Cleanse and ground. Sage...palo Santo, black tourmaline, Smokey quartz, selenite. Even just the smell of smoke helps me. Bonfires💜

I just want to add with the nakedness. When you are naked make sure you make time for yourself (whether single or partnered). Enjoy your own time with yourself, don't rush anything feel the sensations of the air the warmth around you. Guys don't try to push yourself to the end, try new things and don't be afraid of what others think (this is your own personal time). Ladies don't make large expectations, take things little by little and learn (it's the little things comming together that will make the big things happen). And for both, just be patient.
Make of this message what you will.

Really excellent video - thanks Laura. I know the list could go on, but I would add: Be Barefoot outdoors and connect with the Earth regularly; and to use all 5 senses, especially when in nature or working with elements. Isolating each sense and observe and acknowledge the sensations can give you access to a deeper experience/ relationship. We tend to rely on sight the most, but for example: the scent of damp earth, the crackle of fire, the feel of the breeze, the taste of the sea air, etc. xxx

I’m trying to wear colour, I wear all black all the time.... It’s hard for me to wear colour as black clothing helps me feel protected, grounded and comfortable. But I’m missing out on all the beautiful colours there are. I do love purple, red and orange. So that’s my challenge. 🙏🏻

This video is so wonderful. One of the things I do to remain wild (or should do - and am constantly challenged by) is honor my body by truly giving it the rest it needs - and saying no to things when I just need stillness and rest. This gives me the real energy I need to be powerful and creative. (Not caffeine lol).

I loved this and it made me think about the journey I've been through and what I have discovered. It's a bit long but here are 14 things that make me "wild and witchy".
    Be yourself.
Don’t listen to those people that tell you who and how you should be. Listen to
your heart and your soul and be yourself. Do what your heart tells you.Be nice
to others. Say hello to your neighbours and people you know as you pass in
the street. It costs nothing and can
take a fraction of a second, but being nice to other people makes the world a
better place to live in. Say thank
you. If someone does something that you appreciate, tell them. Even if they
don’t realise what they have done. If someone creates a piece of art, or writes
something that touches you, let them know. If someone makes you happy when you
think about them, tell them. Make them presents, send them flowers, write them
a letter or send them a card. Think about how that will make them feel
appreciated and better about themselves.Learn to accept a compliment. If someone gives you a compliment, don’t brush it
aside by saying “It’s only...” or “It’s nothing ...” Turning down a compliment
is something the British do far too often. Instead, respond by saying “Thank
you.”Stand up to wrongs or injustices. Be strong for those who cannot be. Speak your mind. If someone is saying something you don’t agree with, don’t be
afraid to put forward your point of view. Don’t shout them down, let them know
your point of view, giving reasons and examples to back up what you are saying.Grow.
Do something every year that adds to the person you are. Step out of your comfort zone. Make a New Year’s Resolution that will take you out of your comfort zone or give you a new skill. I’ve taken art classes, piano lessons, dance lessons, learned how to sew, and how to use a variety of computer programs. If you want to lose weight, get
fitter, eat more healthily, etc. don’t wait until the new year, do it right
there regardless of the time of year.Feed the animals. When you are out and about, take a little bag of food with you
that you can feed to the wild animals. Especially in the winter months when
finding food is a real struggle. A little bit of research tells you what is
good (NOT bread). I take a small bunch of grapes because these are favourites
for all sorts of birds, including crows and ravens, etc. Of which I am
particularly fond of.Listen toyour inner voice. If something inside you suggests something, or a person
pops into your mind, act on it. Drop that person a text, or give them a call.
If you suddenly think of an object, take it with you. You’ll be amazed at how
many times you’ll be glad you did.Speak out loud the names of the people you think of. Whenever you find yourself thinking about someone, speak out loud their name. Specially if they have passed over.Do something creative every week. Write, draw, play a musical instrument, make something. Preferably every day, but at least once a week, even if it’s just for five minutes. Being creative does wonderful things for the brain and releases stress and tension and does wonders if you are suffering from depression or anxiety.Spend time outdoors. Go for a walk and take in your surroundings. When you are walking, don’t just look ahead or down at your feet. Look up above your eye line and look behind you. You’ll be amazed at what you miss if you only look in one direction. And if you are walking in the fields or through a forest. Stop, close your eyes and listen to everything that is around you.Talk about your hurts and fears. If you have something that is on your mind, share it with a friend. If you are concerned or are feeling down, tell someone. Don’t bottle it up. By talking about these things, they become smaller. They lose their power over you. Do not be afraid to ask for help.Listen.
If someone is talking to you, listen to what they are saying. It may not be
important to you, but it is probably important to them. Don’t judge them. Thank you for reading. I look forward to what other people do to "Remain Wild and Witchy".

hello Laura. The video had some great points. For myself, I find thinking outside the box and not doing things to make other people happy does make a difference for me. I hope everyone will always live their life and feel good about expressing themselves how ever they choose. Thank you for being the amazing person that you are.

    • @jara4766

I agree. There are times when we express parts of ourselves, or express a curiosity that we later disapprove of. I think it is important to acknowledge the difference between what was expressed due to curiosity, or lack, or need as separate from who we are, and to forgive those aberrations.

You know, we DO have a huge naked=sex thing in America. It's really annoying too :( I wonder though, if when we're uncomfortable with ourselves naked, a good part of it isn't the stripping away not just of our literal clothing, but also of our carefully curated and maintained public identity. Like, a businessman wears button down shirts, and a lumberjack wears flannel, and a jogger wears running shorts and shoes. Almost all of us label ourselves with these clothes that we feel others can read as a literal label. "Middle-class professional, kinda sporty, sense of humor"... And without them, we are thrust back into a place where we have no identity but what we have created on the inside. I think many of us haven't bothered to develop that interior identity very well, not nearly so well as we have the one that's our public armor.

    • @lauraredwitch
      @lauraredwitch  7 лет назад

That is a very good point, I think a lot of people are fearful of that! I often feel relieved to cast off labels and just be the person within but I know if you have spent years building up a high power job and perhaps neglecting your soul then it could be quite a huge fear!
