I just want to add with the nakedness. When you are naked make sure you make time for yourself (whether single or partnered). Enjoy your own time with yourself, don't rush anything feel the sensations of the air the warmth around you. Guys don't try to push yourself to the end, try new things and don't be afraid of what others think (this is your own personal time). Ladies don't make large expectations, take things little by little and learn (it's the little things comming together that will make the big things happen). And for both, just be patient. Make of this message what you will.
Really excellent video - thanks Laura. I know the list could go on, but I would add: Be Barefoot outdoors and connect with the Earth regularly; and to use all 5 senses, especially when in nature or working with elements. Isolating each sense and observe and acknowledge the sensations can give you access to a deeper experience/ relationship. We tend to rely on sight the most, but for example: the scent of damp earth, the crackle of fire, the feel of the breeze, the taste of the sea air, etc. xxx
I’m trying to wear colour, I wear all black all the time.... It’s hard for me to wear colour as black clothing helps me feel protected, grounded and comfortable. But I’m missing out on all the beautiful colours there are. I do love purple, red and orange. So that’s my challenge. 🙏🏻
This video is so wonderful. One of the things I do to remain wild (or should do - and am constantly challenged by) is honor my body by truly giving it the rest it needs - and saying no to things when I just need stillness and rest. This gives me the real energy I need to be powerful and creative. (Not caffeine lol).
I loved this and it made me think about the journey I've been through and what I have discovered. It's a bit long but here are 14 things that make me "wild and witchy". Be yourself. Don’t listen to those people that tell you who and how you should be. Listen to your heart and your soul and be yourself. Do what your heart tells you.Be nice to others. Say hello to your neighbours and people you know as you pass in the street. It costs nothing and can take a fraction of a second, but being nice to other people makes the world a better place to live in. Say thank you. If someone does something that you appreciate, tell them. Even if they don’t realise what they have done. If someone creates a piece of art, or writes something that touches you, let them know. If someone makes you happy when you think about them, tell them. Make them presents, send them flowers, write them a letter or send them a card. Think about how that will make them feel appreciated and better about themselves.Learn to accept a compliment. If someone gives you a compliment, don’t brush it aside by saying “It’s only...” or “It’s nothing ...” Turning down a compliment is something the British do far too often. Instead, respond by saying “Thank you.”Stand up to wrongs or injustices. Be strong for those who cannot be. Speak your mind. If someone is saying something you don’t agree with, don’t be afraid to put forward your point of view. Don’t shout them down, let them know your point of view, giving reasons and examples to back up what you are saying.Grow. Do something every year that adds to the person you are. Step out of your comfort zone. Make a New Year’s Resolution that will take you out of your comfort zone or give you a new skill. I’ve taken art classes, piano lessons, dance lessons, learned how to sew, and how to use a variety of computer programs. If you want to lose weight, get fitter, eat more healthily, etc. don’t wait until the new year, do it right there regardless of the time of year.Feed the animals. When you are out and about, take a little bag of food with you that you can feed to the wild animals. Especially in the winter months when finding food is a real struggle. A little bit of research tells you what is good (NOT bread). I take a small bunch of grapes because these are favourites for all sorts of birds, including crows and ravens, etc. Of which I am particularly fond of.Listen toyour inner voice. If something inside you suggests something, or a person pops into your mind, act on it. Drop that person a text, or give them a call. If you suddenly think of an object, take it with you. You’ll be amazed at how many times you’ll be glad you did.Speak out loud the names of the people you think of. Whenever you find yourself thinking about someone, speak out loud their name. Specially if they have passed over.Do something creative every week. Write, draw, play a musical instrument, make something. Preferably every day, but at least once a week, even if it’s just for five minutes. Being creative does wonderful things for the brain and releases stress and tension and does wonders if you are suffering from depression or anxiety.Spend time outdoors. Go for a walk and take in your surroundings. When you are walking, don’t just look ahead or down at your feet. Look up above your eye line and look behind you. You’ll be amazed at what you miss if you only look in one direction. And if you are walking in the fields or through a forest. Stop, close your eyes and listen to everything that is around you.Talk about your hurts and fears. If you have something that is on your mind, share it with a friend. If you are concerned or are feeling down, tell someone. Don’t bottle it up. By talking about these things, they become smaller. They lose their power over you. Do not be afraid to ask for help.Listen. If someone is talking to you, listen to what they are saying. It may not be important to you, but it is probably important to them. Don’t judge them. Thank you for reading. I look forward to what other people do to "Remain Wild and Witchy".
You are absolutely fantastic. I am just starting out on my journey, and you are the most personable and kind mentor I’ve come across so far, you have such a wonderfully open and down-to-earth personality! I can’t thank you enough for this amazingly practical and meaningful advice!
hello Laura. The video had some great points. For myself, I find thinking outside the box and not doing things to make other people happy does make a difference for me. I hope everyone will always live their life and feel good about expressing themselves how ever they choose. Thank you for being the amazing person that you are.
I agree. There are times when we express parts of ourselves, or express a curiosity that we later disapprove of. I think it is important to acknowledge the difference between what was expressed due to curiosity, or lack, or need as separate from who we are, and to forgive those aberrations.
Thank you Laura. I was one of those people that were chipped away at. I broke loose and now am that wild happy person. Your advice is on the mark. Let's hope others listen. It's all true!!
Thanks for your help, it has helped in my battle with some of my life problems, after a breakdown a few years ago, your talk has ment more than any doctors lectures. Thank you , blessing s
Re - watching this to give myself a boost.. Your videos are so helpful.. Your voice is very calming Laura.. Very comforting.. Many Blessings to you.. 💜
I love it, Laura. I was just dealing with my shadow side when I started watching and now I know I have everything I need to work on myself. I live in Argentina and I'm starting to feel Litha coming and I want to finish this year the best way possible. I'm looking forward to see more of your videos! Blessings :)
I really needed to hear this today. I've let fear recently keep me from doing what I enjoy doing, for fear of messing it up. Practicing these 22 guidelines will be very helpful to me in keeping my witchy spirit flowing and keeping me balanced. Brightest Blessings***
I think one of the reasons you resonate with me, is your approach to your path strikes a cord with my shamanic approach. You see that it is organic, fluid and holistic. I love that. This video, is truly amazing and inspiring. It would be a challenge to find anything else to add :) Much appreciate for all you do, Kayla
Thank you so much for your videos, this one might be my favorite so far. Got me a bit teary-eyed...we all need that reminder that the world, and ourselves, can be truly beautiful.
This was soooo HELPFUL! So many validations and confirmations. I have been going through a major awakening process, and I have been flourishing in doing most of these things instinctively! Some of these I have not and I will try! Thank you!!!
This was such an inspiring video. Thank you so much! It is so important to go over a 'list' from time to time and reconnect with the parts that I left behind and at the same time acknowledge the things that have become a habit and say thank you to myself for doing these things. blessed be
That was beautiful! I drive forty miles for a drum circle. Closest one to me. I love drumming. I plan on making my own sometime soon. Keep up the wonderful work. I needed this on this new moon. 😍😘
I loved this video! I just subscribed :) Swimming in a river or ocean and dancing/playing in thunderstorms always makes me feel wild, free, and alive. Eating whole foods also makes me feel wild and connected because I'm eating in a similar way to our hunter/gather ancestors. Also, that deer painting is incredible!
Well I already have done most of these things with out realizing it. number 13 reminded me of the drum I made In the pottery class I took in high school, I still have that drum Ill have to get it out now. Thank you for the video there great tips I think they will help me in some of the ways I need.
Thank you for such a wonderful video! I always love hearing what you have to say💜 (I'm sticking true to your list by officially straying out of my comfort zone by commenting here 😊) Seriously though, I love what you do!
I live in the USA and number 3 is really heard for me because I'm a pre op transgender women. And yes I have been naked so I can get better and comfortable with who I am and the anxieties that come with it.
America is afraid of nakedness as well. I know a women who didn't want to pass that on to her children so she allowed her children to run around naked when at home. I disagree with the fear of nakedness. It is ridiculous.
Its not so much that people are "afraid" of getting naked, it's more that we don't want to get arrested as we usually meet in the park. They told us to keep our clothes on.
When you said number 22 I got really emotional almost started to cry. Well the thing is I'm a pre op transsexual/transgender women I'm also a lesbian, and I have been dealing with allot with in my self fore such a long time related and around it. And I thank you so much for doing this video its how I found your channel, and its going to help me out so much. I plan on trying to do all 22 points in time the ones I haven't done and revisit others etc.
Since I've moved to the city I've REALLY missed nature to the point it's made me depressed. I'm planning to clear out my flat for the time of Yule, get some plants in and eventually get a shelter cat. Hopefully that will help me!

Being barefoot and naked in nature is honestly so great and liberating and it makes me feel so much more connected to nature. Same with swimming nude.

I have a different issue with nakedness because of identity issues. I do bath naked since we arent really super prude in germany thankfully. In the us where i come from it is an issue. But being naked for me is just such an issue because of sweat and just dissapointment about my sex.
I met A spiritual couple and they layed Some tarot cards , and they said that the love I had is not the partner that is Good for my spiritual path . We broke up yesterday and said that we are friends . But to be honest it felt bad to break up that line . Like it was A mistake I Made . What would you say about that ? Was it right ?
Ooh what is that opening song? I love it. Also new sub and I love your vids.

does it sound strange that i subscribed as soon as i saw your aura? xD
You know, we DO have a huge naked=sex thing in America. It's really annoying too :( I wonder though, if when we're uncomfortable with ourselves naked, a good part of it isn't the stripping away not just of our literal clothing, but also of our carefully curated and maintained public identity. Like, a businessman wears button down shirts, and a lumberjack wears flannel, and a jogger wears running shorts and shoes. Almost all of us label ourselves with these clothes that we feel others can read as a literal label. "Middle-class professional, kinda sporty, sense of humor"... And without them, we are thrust back into a place where we have no identity but what we have created on the inside. I think many of us haven't bothered to develop that interior identity very well, not nearly so well as we have the one that's our public armor.
That is a very good point, I think a lot of people are fearful of that! I often feel relieved to cast off labels and just be the person within but I know if you have spent years building up a high power job and perhaps neglecting your soul then it could be quite a huge fear!
