my pal from somerset ate haggis for the 1st time 10 yrs ago on Burns night, loves & eats it to this day
Its delicious mate you should try it. If you can ignore what's actually in it and how its made it goes down easier. You can be fancy with it too and make chicken Balmoral. Chicken breast stuffed with haggis served with a whisky cream sauce. Out of this world but its just as good the traditional way. Haggis neeps and tatties with a wee dram of whisky to knock it back with 👌

There's no such thing as Burns Day - it's Burns NIGHT. This is typical of the level of understanding where even someone who is 'initiated' scarcely understands what it's about apart for the consumption part.
