That figure in the kit screams monogram. This was a revell/monogram kit. The pilot with his hand on the side of the aircraft is in several kits made by revell/monogram. It's one of their best kits. As to your finish? It looks great. I love to see air craft in other schemes not normally seen. Plus your choice in music is great. Lol
Regardless of the sheen, it's apparent you had fun and are proud of your excellent work. It is a beauty to be sure. Thank you for sharing. Also, I appreciated the music and simple commentary.
The old kerosene burners of the 50 and into the 60's had such great paint schemes. This is a perfect example. Now if I could just get a good 1/48 B-47 and C-119B kit made, I'd be REALLY happy! Nice job on the F-84. These kits were reasonably priced too!
2:40 patience and a steady hand 😊 the F84 G was also a part of Royal Danish Air Force with no more than 240 F84 G's from 1952 to 1962 in 5 different squadrons, an amazing airplane
That looks sensational. Its not often you see an almost flawless application of metal finish. Indifferent of accuracy, the result speaks volumes to your patience & skill. Kudos sir.
Just love the finish, great job. Built one of these years ago. Revell just knocked it out of the park with this kit. One day will get and do another one.
Hello mr scat!great job!a small little gem you have created.i also love your comment.nice 2cu unleashing your creative flows.i am looking forward2ur future builds.of course you deserve a thumb up.keep your mojo&keep the faith.with sticky greetings from Brandenburg germany.faithfully yours.your modellmate.christian
Awesome Rahmi!! Absolutely beautiful old jet. I miss the old soundtrack you’ve used to use in your builds. I’m happy to see the planes coming again 😅 I know, sometimes we need a break, and sometimes we need to build other themes… cheers 🍻
truly one of my favorite kits. There are so many amazing decal sets and the kit is a dream to build. Lately you can pick them up for under $20 as well.
This ol'Girl is beautiful, you definitely did her justice. When it comes to aircraft I primarily build USN or USMC aircraft. Because I served in the USMC from 1977 to 1983 and I know these aircraft, it's just my preference. I've never done a bare metal aircraft myself, was very interested in your process on this aircraft. Thanks for the video. Now, back to the bench.
I bought the promodeler kit ( origianl box) last year and I made it, great kit. infortunely the decals were down. so i made it without decals , bare metal.
Your work is so inspiring. I have same kit in same condition with same decal sheet. I see it as a sign but would like to do the French markings over the US one. Excellent video again.
I would like to suggest a future build, not many model channels build "Maschinnen Krieger" (please excuse my spelling) I remember you built them in the past, quite interesting dioramas. And it would be a nice change.
really nice shinny skin. But i imagine its going to be tricky if the carrier film of the decals are really thick, and you.have to apply them at the shinny part
Great build. Especially liked the gloss varnish on primer under metallics. Definitely need to try that. Also, what is this glue and brush combo you often use?
@@Scaleaton ah, I see. What is the brush material? Looks like a Tamiya wooden handle one, but curious if the brush fibers are affected by the butanone?
Great video! I've been thinking about playing around with making some build videos as I begin my modelling journey. Any chance of seeing a behind the scenes video on how you do all this? ☺️ I'm super curious how your camera is set up.
I never would have thought this was a Revell kit if you had shown the box at the start.

Bravo, excellent job, no matter the gloss, thank you from Greece.
Exceptional result with the natural metal, ultra realistic!!
truly one of my favorite kits. There are so many amazing decal sets and the kit is a dream to build. Lately you can pick them up for under $20 as well.
Turned out great, may have to see if I can get my hands on one of them.
I LOVE the shiny metal! Truly a masterful build, congrats!
i like the choice of music here, reminds you how ancient this kit is :D anyway, beautiful kit and a result

Have two of these kits in my stash. Now I have an incentive to dive into one, although I'm sure the results won't be as nice. Terrific job as usual!
Beautiful metal finish!
That was an extremely good build, you have put a lot of hard work into the build, congratulations on the great work, best regards from Australia, Les
Fantastic job Rahmi! You are still my favourite modeler!
USAF & Netherlands Air Force thats amazing
I built the Tamiya version last year, and it's excellent.
Very very nice build of an often forgotten warbird.
Nice old kit!
Oldie, but goodie. Well done, Maestro.
Great kit! I have several “Pro modeler” kits from Revell. They always came with some goodies. Inspiring work as usual. The bare metal looks great.
The bare metal finish is excellent, Nicely done 😮👍
The HAF did have some colorful birds.

I have that Pro-Modeller F-84G in my stash, I might have to pull it out now and build it.
You are an excellent teacher

super nice 👍👍🏻👍🏾👍🏼👍🏽👍🏿
Very nicely detailed plane F-84 G Thunderjet love it so far😊❤🎉🎉🤩😁😀☺️⭐⭐💯🤗👍
Beautiful build, loved the music, also.
Hello! Very unusual paintjob!! Looks nice!!!
Beautiful job. Lovely music choice.
Elinize kolunuza sağlık üstat. Yine tam bir gurme işi olmuş.
That is one beautiful and very shiny aircraft, I like it a great deal.
Great job! I like the metal finish. You always make great models.👏
Its nice to see you back, lovely build as always.
top build on the F-84G.

amazing!!...I too de-sprue my models & pack them SMALL!!
très beau model .bravo
Sempre uno spettacolo i tuoi modelli... ma soprattutto le tue soluzioni 👌👍
Perfect build 🔥🔥🔥
VERY nice!
Beautiful work.
Excellent build... Enjoyed the NMF technique. Always enjoyable videos...🍻
Good Job!!! ✌🏻💪🏻
I have the Pro modeller kit with the Nuke 😁I'll get round to it.
Most excellent work!🤔
Jman

Very nice
Beautiful result for this iconic jet.
Beautiful
A real stunner of a kit and gorgeous finish.
really nice shinny skin. But i imagine its going to be tricky if the carrier film of the decals are really thick, and you.have to apply them at the shinny part
Looks cool.
Unique selection of model and configuration. Well done.
At the end you spray matte varnish on all non metallic parts. How do you handle overspray?
Superb
Wow❤
Just a comment for the old algorithm.
👍
Can't see, don't want to make assumptions, what chemical are you applying at 10:18 to the cockpit bucket and the pilot's chair?
It's MEK (Butanone) the best adhesive for painted parts.
Lovely work! Who made the decals?
Thanks for your comment! It's Hi Decal 48019
Don't feel bad, my Shelves of Shame contain more kits than I'll build in my lifetime.
Please tell us how you cut masks on the canopy so that no knife marks remain on the transparent parts?
High quality blades like Olfa AK-5 that's all.
That came out looking awesome!
Can I ask - what is the saw you used at approx 11:47 for scribing? Thanks!
These are Trumpeter and Hasegawa Trytool saws
@@Scaleaton Thank you!

what paint did you use for your natural metal finish?
Alclad II Series paints.
Nice build!!!
May I ask you what color did you use for the main landing gear wells? Is it Zinc Chromate yelllow? If so... which brand/code?
It's Mr Color C352
@@Scaleaton thank you very much!!
That's a lot of weight for such flimsy plastic gear. You're very trusting to have not gone with the Scale Aircraft Conversions metal gear set.

Adhering to competition rules and building what other people expect to see has never appealed to me. It’s your hobby, do what moves you!
How did you make the metal paint, that you can touch it? When i touch it comes off everytime!
What is that plastic glue, that you apply with brush?
I remember when Revell kits were considered top-of-the-line. Ugh
