I've looked at Shackle reversal kits for my full sized truck but after a lot of consideration I've decided against it. With the shackle at the front as the suspension moves up it push's the wheel forward which helps a lot with climbing ability. The down side as you said in the video is front clearance and it causes bump steer on the road. I run anti inversion shackles on the front which help as well as a good knowledge of the rig so you can avoid getting hung up on the springs in the first place.

You’re correct about the axle moving forward. I was saying this RC was originally at the front and I switched it to the rear

Great video and location need to get up there and see how my TF2 does, just went to a 3 bar front and leaf's in the rear and class O Super Swampers, so far not to bad also have the A&M anti-wrap bar in the rear which really saves the springs and climbs a little better (no spring wrap). Keep up the good work Love the TF2. Thanks

Loved my Marlin and the stock 1.7 tires that came on it. Really surprised me just how capable it was after a few simple mods and some good electronics.

New to the hobby and just found your channel. Love the content, have you ever considered marking videos for people getting into the crawling world? Would love to see reviews of cheap starter crawlers and stuff! Learning about why and what upgrades to make

Maybe at obstacle 6:30 minutes, try left side turning right, then hook left maybe crawl up. It's always best with new obstacles

How difficult was it to mod the 4Runner body to fit on the Marlin chassis?

@@westdesertwheeler2666 Nice, I read on a forum that it needs fitting. I was torn between the RTR 4Runner because I love the body. Went with the Marlin. Good to know, thanks
