DragonStone Inspired Ambience | Game Of Thrones | Dance Of The Dragons | Relaxing Wind Sounds | 4K

- Be taken back to the reign of Aegon The First with Balerion The Black Dread, to the land of Dragons in my own rendition of DragonStone from the George R.R. Martin books.
In this scene I took visual inspiration from both the TV shows and descriptions from the books, I took some personal liberties by adding the drapes and with the knights being on the balcony, as I believe they wouldn't be there originally, but I wanted to add some life without having people walking around talking etc And the drapes and knights standing guard do a great job of this for me.
I also made my own versions of the Crown Of Aegon and the BlackFyre Sword. I will put up in the coming weeks shorts on how I made them.
Be careful not to miss the flyby of Balerion The Black Dread during the intro.

Tech Stuff:
I do not use AI to generate any of my scenes, in whole or in part. My scenes are made using Unreal Engine and edited in Davinci Resolve, After Effects or Premiere, but I don't use AI and my scenes are made by a real person. Many many days of work go into each video that I make, sometimes weeks or months, this was made and rendered in Unreal Engine 5 using my own game industry experience and professional knowledge. Most of my sounds are recorded by myself, and I record the sounds using my MixPre 6 II and EM272 Stereo mics.

Balerion the Black Dread only appears during the intro of this scene, I didn't put him in later as I thought it was detract from the relaxing vibe. I can always make a scene that is super Dragon heavy if people want that?

Yes! Because during the scenes in Dragonstone in HOTD you can hear the rumbling, growls and movements of the dragons below. Even though this video is before that timeline, it would make it quite immersive to have that.

It is not, Spotify isn’t really great for this kind of thing as it’s flooded with ambient sounds, and from what I’ve heard through various whispers, Spotify have started to pay less to ambient sound artists on their platform. So, never say, but Im not sure if it’s worth the effort to have it on there. Maybe I’ll reconsider in the future, but I wouldn’t have thought my sounds would gain much traction in the sea of sounds already on there.

Holy crap, why wasn't I notified when this was posted? it's magnificent. Compared to all the sculpting and lighting you've done, I know it's only trivial, but I love the blowing curtains. The fluttering flags very good too - just the right amount of turbulence. Love the depth of field, the golden light, and your choice of table clutter to show it off.

I’d love to! I’d need to put some time into it so it depends if these videos do well. Tbh I’m surprised people haven’t made these already as ambiences, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone generated some AI image of them by now? It would take me weeks or months to do a full city like that but AI could do it in minutes, which is a depressing thought for me 😓😢

Is it:
A) Because they made a couple little changes from the source material that isn't presented as fact? Changes that don't influence the overall story?
B) Because adapting book to screen is never going to result in an identical product?
Or..
C) Because the Velaryons are black?
If you aren't a fan of well-written literature I could see why you wouldn't like it. I have a feeling it might be some petty nonsense. Still, I'd like to hear it regardless - _if_ you could spare a moment for a passing stranger.

I still think about Dostoevsky's Frost's, and Hemmingway's works fondly from time to time. When I think about the GOT show or the "ASOIAF" books those memories are not positive. I liken the emotion to an experience I had an upscale steak house. I was enjoying my steak when a third of the way through I cut into a small tumor inside the steak which spoiled the entire meal. I'm not saying that GOT's problems or ASOIAF only problems were a small literary tumor, but rather when I look back on the steak and the books and the show the emotion is similar.
