I was in a lil shop next to a Zoo and there was a massive bag going for £20 that was filled with Hero Factory. It was such a good deal, but I couldnt puck it up since i had no more space in my suitcase... :/
Lego abandoning CCBS is one of the worst things I had to go through and I’m glad I’m not the only one who misses it (Hero Factory and Bionicle specifically)…
@@zh0skiyebaka while I respect your opinion, I think you’re way of expressing your opinion is slightly harsh. It’s hard to dislike something if you grow up with it, and I stand by those words (don’t quote me though).
Yep. Should've kept it, it was easily my favorite part. Most of the new constraction stuff doesn't hold a candle to it. It was a financial decision though and I understand why they took it. All the special molds and division of resources between the different brick systems wasn't viable just to keep some themes that were not performing that well anymore.
Hero Factory was underrated as heck. The reason my friends and I didn't put as much time and attention in it back then was that we were massive Bionicle fans and the fact that we felt like replaced our favorite theme with sci-fi space guns, lasers and Marvel style heroes irked us. We weren't really into that. I only appreciated it really after it ended. And don't get me started on Bionicle G2... they should've listened to Christian Faber's ideas for the reboot and crossed the two themes over with a big narrative event. Execs will exec I guess...
Breakout was amazing when we got to see nex and evo and rocka 1.0 helmet brains attack is a cool concept too is a shame lego done dirty to hero factory when brain attack cliffhanger left unsolve and invasion from below butcher it
I have an original Von Nebula that I think is genuinely one of the best looking models I've ever had the pleasure of building.
Bionicle fans aren't going to like this one but... Von Nebula makes every build from Bionicle look bad in comparison. It's just that good.

Hero Factory was so cool. I still don’t know what happened to it.
Sales went down so they went back to bionicle in 2015 but they dropped it all in 2016

It was a trash system that Lego never chose to update and it was one of the reasons why G2 was bad and ended prematurely. I really don’t miss ccbs
