Hate to say it dude but that's like other fighting games i don't its going be your cup of tea but only click the video cuz its looks interesting and it looks pretty fun to kinda got the mvc and guilty gear vibe
I think to make the characters POP and highlight their features they could use some STRONG outlines or more Color Saturation that you usually see with cell shading. Like DBZ Kakarot and Sparking Zero and even Demon Slayers game
nah, this game's definitely got its own style to it; a lot of the stages' lighting seems to contribute to giving characters a slight "outline" already. Hard outlines would compromise what this art style's going for. If characters needing to "pop" is an issue, I think they could just have the characters' colors brighten just a tiny bit, especially for some of those darker stages
The game is a bit too tame and without excitement in the lighting, stages, music, and action like supers. It's a pretty solid game but it just wasn't fun enough for me. It lacks a pop or wow factor. All that said I still have it and occasional consider reinstalling, but, with Diesel Legacy on the way and SF6 and SF Third Strike, I'm pretty solid on 2d fighters.
Man I've always wished a production company would pick these guys up and give them the money and team they deserve. This game is awesome and has a grwat, old-school feel
@@kloa4219 That’s presentation. Am referring to character designs. Nothing about any of the characters really makes them unique. Even tall Crystal Gem lady’s design is bland.
This looks great, I have two little quality of life feedback things: When fighting a CPU only make the voice say "don't give up yet" when an actual human player is about to lose and not when the CPUs health is low. Also maybe add some symbol or the name "CPU" somewhere around the CPU's character name, so people watching content for this game know who the CPU is (of course only add that in training mode and not campaingn mode, as that can be imersion breaking, and for online matches I would give the player one plays the name "You", to make it easier for watchers).
Excuse me, is that a character wielding an axe and NOT wielding it like a brute, making use of a bit of finesse and hooking motions instead? Animation does seem genuinely amazing too. Good luck on further development. I'm admittedly a bit critical basedon some other comments regarding how long this game has been in early access, but I don't want to discourage either. Hope the final product will end up good and the sales/reception likewise.
I've never played this game before, but this art style, looks like, Rebecca sugar's art style. I like, there's a character named dog. I enjoy that Tyara, looks like a character from Steven universe future, and and I love that Maxx, looks like a different species of Namekian.
A lot of the comments here are shitting on the game for how long the game has been taking to make and don't really have the context for how this game is being made. It's being made by a team of 3 people who all have careers outside of making this specific game, it's a passion project for everybody involved and they have a very specific vision for the game that is meant to be more accessible for people who are already familiar with street fighter style 2D games.
Oh whoa, youtube took way too long to recommend this to me. I'm always looking up to see if anyone is making new Punch Planet vids. I love this game and hope it succeeds once it's finished!
This looks good and I'd prefer they finish making it. If they add 2 more well animated attractive women to the roster like purple lady they got themselves a unique and montetizeable fighter.
I would like they make it more dynamic and make the movement a bit more faster and fluid as well make the attack have some weight , impact and some level of density because I feel they are punching in the air or punching a weightless mass with not much density on them. Also, I would like the A.I been smarter and adding some difficult that is reasonable and underdoing it as well overdoing it. Just balance difficulty to make it fun.
not a good sign when devs of a fighting game arent able to display flashy or complex moves n interactions like in other trailers. like a racing game w no drifting or speed boosts
Lets see we got Korban Dallas, Garnet, Jailbot, Skeletor and that bounty hunter from Thundercats. All thats missing is combaticus and simon (Infinity Train)!
The character art style and animations are outstanding, really great. Stages are a bit simplistic. Gameplay looks a bit limited and slow to my taste, but interesting non the less. Just finish it up as is and go all out.
ok i think we can all decide maxx looks like a dbz character, tyara looks like a steven universe character, but aint no one realize cid kinda looks like a jojo character? part 2 maybe? especially the face.

Exactly. "Early access" just means "Unfinished forever." Don't pay for an unfinished game.

Makes me think of the Maxx comics, though that one's quite different.
the artist sure loves "fish lips" I've noticed, the only character without it is the white dude
I was thinking DBZ mixed with Akira. That shot of him dragging the pipe while riding his bike is straight out of the film.
he looked like a cool bruiser or grappler but that throw at 5:00 was awful
I'd say Battletoads meets LOBO from DC (who also has the punk outlaw aesthetic)

Maxx is literally Birdie from Street Fighter 5, his lows, his back dash, his punches are also similar.
Some of the music rips, and the announcer voice is so epic.

More like Shermie from KOF XV.
The art style and tone of this just makes me feel like this is a Genndy Tartakovsky creation.
