- I think you could travel the length and breadth of the world and not find a more proficient and musical mandolinist. Johnny Staats is incredible & also writes some amazing music. It was great to be part of this recording with him & Brandon Lee Adams.
This is called 'A Song for Mark & Sherry' - dedicated to Johnny's 2 cousins who passed away.
Absolutely Beautiful Song! Love it guys, Thank You.
I keep returning to this. Simply brilliant
A lovely piece, a real pleasure and well done👍
Beautiful, deep, virtuousic!
Fantastic
Very nice.....has a little bit of "as my guitar gently weeps" feel to it
I'm reborn guys! Thank you :)
What is Ger playing?
At first, I wondered why he would play a standard Cello across his chest rather than use a Cello Da Spalla which was designed to be strapped to the chest. I have googled 8-string Cello and keep getting guitars. There's a group that uses a Cello on a guitar strap instead of a Bass guitar. They're called The Dead South and the song I first heard was In Hell I'll Be In Good Company.
What instrument were you playing there, Ger? A cellotar?
Stephen O'Sullivan that’s as good a name as any!
Ok so what is that your playing 🤔😀 great tune by the way 👍☘️
What genre is this? "Beautiful"?
